Absolutely not, would be my first response. The biryani was oily, soggy, and done I think with Thai or US rice. It wasn't Indian rice, I will say that. The dahl was thick and pasty. Naan was ok. Nothing about this restaurant was good. I was told it is the best in Reno, if so, Reno has some work to do...
First time here and was very happy. We tried the Chicken Tikka Masala ($14.99) and the Lamb Vindaloo ($16.99). Both excellent. Was impressed enough to order a bunch of take out dishes to take back to my son and his friends. The vegetable biyani ($12.99) was a huge hit. Plenty of free, off street parking.
Worst Goat Biriyani I have ever tasted. It doesn’t really taste/smell like biriyani (no I don’t have covid 19), and the rice is also not cooked well. Quality and quantity needs to be improved as the food is not really worth $20.
Came here after a day on the slopes- food took awhile to come to us and we were already eating late and not thrilled with the long wait, but once the food arrived and we took a bite it was clear why it took so long. The chef’s in back are probably freshly grinding all of the herbs so everything tastes super fresh and pops with simultaneous simplicity and complexity. Highly recommend for taste/texture/freshness but don’t be in a rush.
I ordered the butter chicken. It’s 838 pm. So maybe close to closing. It was SO over salted it hurt my stomach. Throwing it away. Bummer. I heard good things about this place. Guys dial it in.
Service was reasonably good, but the food was abysmal. We've had authentic Indian food from various places all over the world and this is one of the worst examples of it we've ever seen.Just an FYI - their buffet seems to be closed down at the moment. Possibly due to the pandemic.
Went in on a Friday evening and the place was packed, always a good sign. Got an order of samosas to get us started off and the food definitely took a little while (not too long) which meant the food was fresh! I will definitely be returning and I highly recommend this place
Authentic delicious cuisine! Loved the vegetable samosas, Malal Kofta, garlic naan and specialty hot tea sooo good wish I took pictures but honestly ate it so fast!
