Tonight was the first time I had every had dinner at Macaroni Grill and it was awesome! Although I showed up half an hour before close, Josue made it clear that I was welcome and insisted I enjoy my meal regardless of the time they close. I had the Chicken Marsala, a salad and Key Lime Cheesecake. All of it was absolutely amazing. Josue was extreme attentive to my table and I really enjoyed the experience. FIVE STARS. (Josue deserves a raise)!
We enjoy the Bib Salad, other meal are just OK
The lasagna was mediocre at best and was cold in the middle. The quality has gone down over time.
Food was warm if that and had zero taste to it whatsoever service was great
I can comment on the food from past experiences and it's good but there is now a serious problem with their deliver service orders. They cancel all of them. If they can't meet online order expectations then they should remove themselves from online delivery services. We have tried to order food online on three separate occasions over the past moth and all have been canceled by the restaurant within a couple of minutes. Funny thing is that these orders weren't even during their supposed "busy times." I think the person who is supposed to confirm the orders is just lazy and since they dont make tips from those orders they cancel them. We tip 30% or more to our drivers but the restaurant servers only want to make food for internal customers because they don't get any tips for delivery service orders. We no longer want to even go in to eat there because of this practice. Stay away!
We ordered a meal for four people from doordash. Only half of our meals were delivered. I called the restaurant and the manager Richie was completely apologetic and asked to call me back. He proceeded to call me back and let me know that one of his employees, on her way home from work, was going to bring me my missing items and extra goodies to compensate for the mistake. Brandy brought us our food only 20 minutes later. This kind of customer service is unheard of and I am completely happy with how the manager handle the situation. My kiddos got to eat dinner and we didn't have to cook! Thank you again Richie we really appreciate your professionalism.
Okay for Italian chain restaurants. The food was a average, interior was classic fine Italian but the service was outstanding. The food tasted fine but not great. The wife's Mac and cheese was bland at best. The chicken marsala was good but the angel hair pasta was dry and tough. The starters of soup and salad were good. The rosemary bread was fantastic.I have always enjoyed the interior of the Macaroni Grill. It reminds me of something out of the movie "The Godfather".Our server was fantastic. No drink ran dry. No plate remained on the table. Requests were quickly taken care of. I was duly impressed.I did notice that the restaurant was almost empty of patrons. It was a Tuesday night but it was really empty.
I wasn’t impressed with any of our meals.
Asked us to wait when we walked in. We stood for over 5 minutes. Staff kept looking over at us but no one came to seat us. Only about 5 tables full in the entire place. After being ignored we walked out. Worst customer service ever.
I ordered takeout. Got it home, and not only was the food tasteless but my chicken parmesan was burned black!!! Whoever packaged it deliberately tried to hide the fact that it was burned because they put sauce and cheese over it so I wouldn't discover it until later. I immediately called and spoke with the manager and he lied and said he would credit me for it but two weeks later then I still hadn't received the credit. Listen people, quality begins at the top and there is no leadership so no ownership. Do yourself a favor and spend your well earned money ANYWHERE else!!! This place is deceitful and doesn't deserve your business!!!!
