My review is based solely on the Neapolitan Margarita, I haven’t tried the Detroit style but people seem to like it.The pizza I got was way overbaked with a very dry crust, absolutely no chew at all. It felt like eating crackers with sauce and cheese on top. They also baked the basil!? One of the keys to a good Margarita is fresh basil on the pizza AFTER baking, otherwise it just turns to ash.Perhaps my experience was a one off as there are many good reviews, but I personally wouldn’t go back.

Currently on hold trying to order a pizza. This is the third time I've experienced long hold times and I give up. Its Sunday night and I take my business elsewhere. Your customer service is a big failure.

My family just moved to the area and were in search of a good pizzeria when we came across Lupo. Let me just say this place is amazing! Their ingredients always taste fresh and though it is on the pricey side it is worthwhile. My personal favorite is the potato and pancetta neapolitan style. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a good quality pizza!

Genuinely shocked at some of these negative reviews, as my partner and I order takeout here weekly because it is THAT GOOD. We are recent transplants to the area and had been complaining about the lack of quality pizza until we had Lupo. The ingredients have always been plentiful and taste fresh. We flip flop between the Neapolitan and Detroit, both are delicious. We usually order a base pizza and then doctor it up with our favorite toppings. Is this pizza the cheapest in Reno? No.. and thank God for that because paying extra for pizza from here means you know it’s quality ingredients, flavorful and homemade organic dough. To me, that’s worth the price. I would also ask for people to give any restaurant in today’s time a little grace. Everyone is short handed and sometimes they might be off one night…but that doesn’t warrant a negative review. Give a place a few chances first. I’m sure you’ll find a pizza you love here.

Detroit Style Cheese Pizza was delicious. The bar was well stocked with liquor and beer, and the barkeepers were friendly.

The fresh ingredients make a great slice of pizza!

The 'Detroit ' was out of this world! The sauce on top was delish and the cheese on the side burned, just the way I love it. We will be back rather sooner than later.

I was there Friday about 5pm. Nice enough young woman took my order for two slices to go. I paid and stood back to wait. I then watched her get my pizza with her bare hands (the hands that just took my money), reach into a container, grab pepperoni and apply it to the slices, put back into the container the extra pepperoni she had grabbed and put my slices in the oven. All this with unwashed hands and no gloves. An older man behind the counter was standing near, I told him what had happened and that I wanted my money back. He opened the register and returned my money. No reaction, explanation, or apology. I had really been looking forward to trying a new pizza style BUT DEFINITELY WILL NOT RETURN!

To start, it is a two style pizza, place. They have a thin Neapolitan style thin crust, fluffy edge crust, and a good ratio of cheese to sauce. I also liked the pizza tray it was delivered on; it raised the pizza so it didn't get soggy. Flavor was nice, and the pizza is a good size (BTW there is only one size, about 18-20").The second is a square cut, Detroit style. A thick, yet light crust, with the sauce laid on top. If you like pizza for the sauce, then this is the way to go. I could really taste the flavor and it did not disappoint. I ordered a single slice just to try it out. I liked it, but a full one would be better. It took about 10 minutes to get the fresh Neapolitan pie out of the oven, so I recommend just ordering a whole one. I wasn't quite sure if it was a "bus your own table" style restaurant... So, I just cleaned up after. Not a big deal.

Ordered Marguerite online but when i got there they didn't show the order. No biggie, i hope i wasnt charged, so ordered again. The pizza came out pretty quick so i was pleasantly surprised. However when I got home i lifted up one slice and the slice fell apart. Then i lifted up some more and the toppings slid right off exposing wet dough and not crust. So the pizza did come out too quickly. I took back and asked for refund. The manager accidentally charged me again and had to give me double refund. Both of the folks I dealt with were apologetic and pleasant. They offered to make it right but once I have to make a trip back I'm done. I see a lot of good reviews so probably a one off.
