It’s a big portion, but it was delicious. We ordered the club and the reggie deluxe. The gravy on reggie deluxe was super yummy in my opinion. It goes well with the fried chicken and the biscuit. The club was okay, they just slide in a big chunk of lettuce and some tomato. You’re expected to bus your own table.

We saw that this place was very busy when we drove by, so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the club biscuit sandwich with fried chicken, my husband ordered the brisket biscuit sandwich, and we also ordered a biscuit with strawberry jam for our daughter and a blueberry basil “pop tart” to share. The presentation of my club biscuit sandwich was a little disappointing. It consisted of a whole quarter of a head of lettuce and a couple of fried chicken fillets between a sliced biscuit with a huge glob of ranch dressing all over it. There’s no way anyone could eat something like that as a sandwich as no human mouth is that big. It was necessary to deconstruct it in order to eat it, or course. It was actually better than I first expected by the way it looked. The chicken looked like it was going to be old and dry, but it actually was moist and had a great flavor. The blueberry basil pop tart was really delicious, with a flaky crust and a lovely blueberry filling with a nice hint of basil. The reason I gave four starts instead of five is becauseI personally think sandwiches should be able to be eaten as such, and I also think the biscuits should he served warm. Otherwise, it was decent.

Pine State Biscuits is a MUST! Biscuits are soft and melt in your mouth buttery goodness! We came from Tahoe for a day trip and was for sure worth it! So good we went back a second time leaving to go back home. First trip we split the Chatfield and some beignets. Both were fantastic! ? second time we got the biscuits À la cart with some eggs and bacon. The apple butter with the biscuits is heavenly! Service was also amazing and they are true rockstars for keeping up with the crowds of peeps coming in and the restaurant was very clean. We will be back!

We got the Reggie, the Veggie Reggie and the chicken fried steak. GET THE REGGIE! OMG so good! I recommend looking at the menu online ahead of time as they don't have a lot of copies and you order at the counter. Either that or grab a table and then look. They have so much good stuff so you wanna look at everything.

This is one of my son's favorite restaurants and he took me there recently for breakfast. I have shrimp and grits whenever I see it on a manu and I've had it at ssome very fine restaurants. Pine State Biscuits provided a large serving with six good sized shrimp on top of a substantial amount of grits cooked to perfection. But, the highlight was the sauce, which included bacon. As good as the S & G I enjoyed at Henry's in downtown Charleston years ago. Easily a\a top two of all the restaurants I've visited. Had a cinnamon roll for dessert and it too was superb. What a nice experience.

A different breakfast place centered around a biscuit. So many choices, so little time ?. The biscuits are good but not special. The different products used on or in between the biscuits are nicely prepared. The gravy used was excellent. I probably would eat everything on the menu. The only reason Pine State Biscuits doesn't rate a 5 star rating is that I really dislike semi-self serve / self serve restaurants.

Great place! Food was good, the sausage gravy was excellent! Definitely be back

This place is BUSY. A lot of people and a long line at the door. We got there early so we didnt have to wait too long. But I will say that it is really worth the wait the food was AMAZE. The biscuits are soft and moist yet crisp on the top- perfectly made. My son got the figgy pop tarts and they're made from scratch and taste absolutely wonderful. The blueberry pancake is refreshing and lemony. I got a biscuit sammie with chicken and mushroom gravy and it was one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth. The coffee is even really delicious. And I saw a table next to us get bloody Mary's and they looked amazing!!! I was jealous haha. I wanted to ask if I could take a photo of the drinks but I decided not to disturb, you'll have to experience them yourself. If you dont mind a bit of a wait this place is WORTH IT. Get the fried green tomatoes!!!?

overall would try again but to try something else- really cheap place, especially coming from sf for the weekend.- brisket biscuit: ordered it because of the reviews but wished i didn’t. brisket wasn’t good, overall dish was dry, i thought it came with gravy. however, the biscuit was flavorful and so was the mustard.

Some good biscuits. The sausage gravy was too sweet for my taste, but the mushroom gravy was delicious. Recommend eating there. We got to-go and the cheese on our sandwich was not melted. We ate outside and saw that those who dined in got it all served nice and hot.
