I love Peg's. It's my go-to breakfast place in Reno, I take friends and family visiting from out of town and recommend it to any random tourist asking where to go for breakfast. Food is ALWAYS great, no matter what the location (and they do have a LOT of locations now and I've been to almost ALL of them - several of them many, MANY times! Check them out in Las Vegas, where they are holding their own in the land of breakfast places!).That said, of all the locations I've frequented over the years, this one at S. Meadows Pkwy and Double R is the most unfriendly of all. So consistently, just about every time I've eaten here, I've thought it. So much so that I'm finally writing a review. Maybe more for the management and owners to take note. It's a weird thing and I don't know why this location has struck me this way, but...the food, at least, has never failed me, and that is why I've been there enough to notice...
The absolute worst breakfast I've ever had. Austin is rude on the telephone. Huevos Rancheros... absolutely grossest ever. Tasteless beans, cabbage, everything was just awful. Glorified is right... this place sucks.
This is a great breakfast spot without pretentious or needing to rely on clever tactics. Good food and good prices all around. The service is quick and friendly which is key for a breakfast place. My only knock is that pegs overall in my experience could go a further trying to make their restaurant feel clean and tidy.
We just love Peg's. Great food, friendly staff and very clean. We usually get the breakfast burrito and split it, it's huge. All you can eat toast? yes and it's delicious.
Wow wow wow! If you are looking for an amazing, home-cooked, filling and tasty meal for breakfast or brunch, Peg's will not disappoint! Large portions and perfectly cooked. Staff was friendly and everyone was smiling.
Me and 3 business associates went here for breakfast. It took the waitress a long time to bring the coffee, then she came back multiple times to see if we were ready to order when we had already told her we were waiting for a fourth person. She didn’t refill our coffees or waters and was a little rude. The food was good the service wasn’t.
Was pretty good had their Homemade corned beef hash and eggs the corned beef was dry eggs were over cooked and hashbrowns we're pretty oily the service was good overall but food was pretty bland it does have a nice atmosphere and quiet a bit of seating

Your staff, in a sea of unmasked people, INSISTED that we wear masks from the counter, through all the tables of unmasked customers, to our table, where we could take our masks off. We said that was ridiculous and insisted in the opposite direction. She said, “If you don’t like it, you don’t have to eat here.” She was right.
Breakfast for two cost $48!! That is ridiculous. I had a full stack of pancakes with bacon bananas and walnuts, and my honey had eggs and hash. Won’t be coming back here again. PS, the food was fine but nothing special.
