Quaint and very close to the Pioneer Center, my husband and I love going to The Old Granite Street Eatery! The food is always good, and the wait staff are friendly and amicable! A really nice selection of wine and spirits, too! A little noisy when there's a crowd, and be sure to make a reservation, especially on weekends!
Outstanding!! Love love this place
The service was slow. The food took a long time to come out. It was good but bland.
My friend and I came for dinner before we went and saw Cats. I had a reservation at 6:30, and we got there at 6:20 and were seated immediately which was nice. After we sat down it took about 20 minutes for the waiter to greet our table and get our drink order; by that time we already knew what we wanted so he took our order. We each order burgers, one with a salad and the other with fries; no appetizers. It took over an hour to get our food! The show started at 8, and we were almost late. An hour wait for two burgers is ridiculous! The food was good, fresh, but it was nothing special. We will not be returning.
Good food and good service. Noisy as hell, however. Difficult to talk with three other tables side by side all talking (yeling) across the table to one another.
We enjoy eating at Old Granite Street especially on nights when there is a performance at the Pioneer Center. The good is reliably good, as is the service.
The Granite Street Eatery has been one of my favorite places to dine with friends in Reno. The food quality and taste have never disappointed. If you enjoy an alcoholic beverage This place has you covered too. Good Draft beers, great wines, and a bartender who can mix the perfect cocktail to match your mood. During shows at the Pioneer Theater, it does get very busy. and seating is very limited. Also, I would recommend getting a lite appetizer and drink while you're waiting for your meal. It can take a little longer than you might be used to.
We had a wonderful meal. An eclectic restaurant. By the time we finished all tables were occupied. My husband had the salmon and he said he it was very good and I had the fusili bolognese pasta and it was so yummy. We started with appetizers (peppers and calamari). the peppers were outstanding but the calamari was too crunchy for us. We also ordered the lava molten cake with vanilla ice cream. Outstanding dessert. I had their key lime pie martini and I would order it again. Great service and great food. We will be back.
Everything was very nice... great service, excellent burgers.
Not incredibly busy, but service was very slow. Guess that's just a sign of the times. Only problem was we had a play to attend, had to inhale our food, and got to the theater with 5 minutes to spare. The food was good, though. I would go back but will give myself more time.
