It is my husband birthday, so we spent the weekend in Reno, Nevada. This restaurant sophistication and elegance of each plate was spot on. Our appetizer was so a seafood delight. The cocktails were simple but strong. Wow, the tuna Negri was so fresh. My favorite entrée was the ginger salmon with veggies. Our server was very kind, I told her “We just drove from Louisiana, and it was my husband birthday tomorrow”. She brought a small dessert with a smile. I thought it was very special that she tried to be so proactive to my needs.

I ate here twice whilst staying at the Peppermill hotel. The first time I had the Asian ceviche followed by the stuffed prawns. The second time I had the lobster bisque followed by the seafood linguini. All were superb. The stuffed prawns were very filling and I ended up leaving 1 of the 4. The ceviche was lovely and creamy. The bisque was very tasty and just the right thick consistency. The seafood linguini was excellent. There was plenty of sauce coating the pasta so it was not at all dry. The wine selection is good. I had the Whitehaven sauvignon blanc which was crisp, fruity and refreshing. Service was good.
Wonderful experience! A beautiful restaurant! Lovely ambiance! Excellent service! Delicious food! West end of Casino. Worth the walk!
Fun time! All you can eat sushi was awesome. Oceano definitely does not scrimp on their sushi selections and servings! Do try, make a reservation-they are busy & popular.
Affordable prices for fresh top notch sushi and sushimi! A definite must visit for any seafood lover. Their ahi tuni salad had the tuna seared perfectly! Yum!
For my first time coming to the Oceano, I just got to say it is spectacular from the atmosphere to the food!!!My family and I had our reservation all set which I highly recommend doing. Walking in might take a little bit longer to be seated but if you don’t mind the wait, it is well worth it. We were seated quickly, our drinks and orders were all taken down in a great timely manner and our server was very friendly, took care of us well and his customer service was just fantastic.I went in for the “All You Can Eat” sushi and it was beyond what I expected. Very delicious, tasty, the presentations of the sushi was excellent. I only had one issue and it was how long they took to get your sushi orders back to you. The wait was very long in between sushi order to the point where our waiter felt so bad, he comped my family and I free dessert and also comped me a free drink which was very kind of him to do. Thank you very much!!! It was very appreciated.Beside that, I definitely recommend the Oceano and can not wait to go back to try out some more sushi or maybe even an entree.
This is hands down my favorite place to eat! Always a massive treat! Sushi is perfect, service is quick, staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is awesome!! I personally always go with the sushi here but the other dishes appear amazing also! HIGHLY recommend!!
Everything from start to finish was amazing! Starting with the bread: so fresh and hot! Then my bf had a rib eye steak with lobster tail and I had lobster tail and clam chowder and it was sooo good and everything tasted so fresh and buttery! Highly recommend this place!
We were a bit hesitant about coming here after reading some of the other reviews. So glad we did. Our dinner was amazing, especially the fish and chips that my husband ordered. You would think that is fairly standard fare, but even the fries were above par. Our server, Sal was just the right amount of attentive. All the staff were very gracious and courteous. The restaurant was well kept, the seats comfy, loved the big screens on the wall with the changing scenery. We will definitely be back if we are in Reno again.
