Decided to try out the new south location. Ordered a Michael’s sandwich on Dutch around 8am. The sandwich was inedible. Bread was so cold and stale that I was a bit shocked. Maybe they freeze them overnight? It definitely wasn’t freshly baked that morning. Innards were fine but without the bread it was tough to eat. I picked the turkey and sun dried tomatoes out and that was my breakfast.
I recently moved to the "Midtown" area. I wanted to checkout some of the eateries. As I was walking down S. Virginia trying to decide which place to grab some food at. I saw some ladies sitting along the sidewalk eating some salads. I looked thru the window and saw it was filled with customers. So I went in and checked out the menu and decided to try the "Dave's Hot Pastrami" Panini.I'm glad I did. It was delicious. I'll definitely come back to try other items on the menu.
Very fast service and good sandwhiches. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes (order to go). ABC croissant was tasty!
This place is the greatest! The Strawberry Spinach salad with chicken was outstanding. The mushroom soup blew my mind. I didn't know a soup could have that many mushrooms in it. My husband's Pastrami sandwich was humongous, just filled with meat and came on the swirled Rye bread. The Antipasta salad was incredible. They have lots of veggie options and I just learned they have breakfast. Also at Christmas they sponsor trees where you can buy presents for the kids on the 4th street corridor. I've gone here for years for this but just tried their food. I could eat here every day and never get tired of it!
Absolutely delicious, will recommend this place to everyone! The oriental wrap was just phenomenal.
I've eaten numerous falafel sandwiches in my day but this was hands down the best. They balance out the heaviness of the falafel with lettuce, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, and a delicious sauce. They even sell unsweetened iced tea - a rarity these days.Crowded for a reason.
Amazing food! The service is fantastic. They are bilingual in Spanish, a great spot for my multilingual group en route to Mesquite. Thanks again!
My wife and I stopped in and we each had a pastrami sandwich. They were out of this world! Piping hot, fresh ingredients, plenty of pastrami, awesome all the way around! I also had a dish of cervechi, and my wife had cole slaw. Awesone meal!!!
You owe it to yourself to give this place a try. If you try a sandwich or a salad with soup for lunch, you will go back!We were in Reno for a short time & wanted to try this out, it was so good we went back the next day for a later meal.Friendly staff, decently priced food, nice atmosphere. We will go back again and again! Thank you Michael's Deli! S Virg. Location. Update, I have now gone to Both locations & I believe the downtown Virg St is Far superior!!
Love this spot and the friendly service! Lots of variety on the menu.. we went with the Venetian, the California Melt, and a bowl of clam chowder. Everything was absolutely delicious! We can’t wait to bring family here when they come to visit for the holidays.
