Nice little restaurant with quick service and simple yet tasty food. Would recommend especially if you are in a hurry. I liked the fact that they don't use lard in all of their food. I would also recommend the quesadilla for kids because it was the perfect portion for my 11 year old. Overall I got a really good meal for an affordable price.
First time trying this place, we ordered for pick up over the phone. Fast friendly service.Got 2 horchatas (yum!) and 2 wet burritos (Shrimp & chicken with green sauce, Shrimp & steak with red sauce). The burritos were huge! Meats were cooked perfectly, not dry or chewy. Decent ratio of meat to rice/beans inside, though more rice/beans than meat. Sauces, guac, sour cream were good quality/flavor, but the green sauce was the highlight of all flavors! Perfect lime cilantro accent.Overall great food and service, a little expensive (what isn't now days?) but worth it for what you get! We will return for sure!
I was very disappointed with my lunch. I ordered the carna asada plate and the meat was tough and overly salted. It looked and tasted like dried beef jerky. The neighborhood is pretty sketchy. Hubby liked his carna asada burrito and said it was okay. Not great.
They had a rush and seemed to be under a little stress when taking large orders and large rushes. Food was decent super nachos were amazing
Great family owned business. Everything was delicious and the prices were amazing. Check out this off the strip taqueria next time you visit Reno. You won't regret it.
Mi Ranchito is the best homemade Mexican food in Reno. Family generations are involved in creating beautiful food, a clean comfortable restaurant and amazing food with inexpensive prices. My husband and I take all our visitors there. It's just the best.
Service was subpar. Didn't clean the table before we sat down, had to ask for napkins, didn't check on us. On top of it all, added 18% service charge for a party of 4 with no notice that was required. Food was decent but would avoid due to garbage service that they charge 18% for.
Best Mexican food I have had since living in El Paso, I highly recommend this place, 10 on a 10 scale in my books.
