The food was excellent !!!

incredible!! I had the Chiles Rellenos con queso. Best food I have had in NV for 2 weeks! (holiday)

Im quite surprised by the number of 5 star reviews? The place was not busy on a beautiful Saturday afternoon so the service was ok, the food on the other hand was anything but authentic! Both my wife and i ordered a wet chicken burrito, for starters there was very little chicken, it was packed with very unappetizing beans and rice, the tortilla seemed to be made of some very rubbery foreign material that was very difficult to cut or chew virtually no flavor. The burrito was way less appetizing than something you would buy in the frozen food isle at Wal-Mart. Our son ordered chimichanga, it was so dry and tasteless he was barely able to chocke down a few bites before giving up. On top of all that, it was all way over priced. We wont be back especially since there are some truly authentic wonderful Mexican food restaurants in Reno Sparks.

Taco combo plate and salad were good especially the carne asada. Service was quick and friendly. The only negative part was that we wanted to sit outside but the tables and patio area seemed to be a little dirty and a lot of the tables were missing their umbrellas.

Service was slow and generally terrible, all except one very young man who appeared to be in "training". He was attentive when asked and very nice and polite. The food was LUKE WARM.... YUCK.We were so hungry and had waited so very long, that we ate it anyway instead of risking another arduous wait.If we had not had to ask for our drinks multiple times and still had to wait an inordinate amount of time, we may have not noticed that the food was slow and LUKE WARM.We would have spent more money on drinks, which would have been good for us and them.Of course we'll probably order Taco's from them again due to the location, but not happily.#getbetterbebetter

I was so excited to try this place and, boy, was it a let down. Going on Cinco De Mayo, I expected everywhere to be busy - but not this awful of service. We were seated right away, which I thought was promising! But then it took 40 minutes before we could even order drinks. The whole table got margaritas, which were subpar. Eventually we ordered food, and that also took far longer than it should, and the food wasn’t excellent either. There was no apology for the long wait; no offer to refill our drinks; it was like our table didn’t exist. All tables around us were being served multiple times, but we only got blank stares in our direction. We arrived a little before 8pm, drinks came around 8:40 and food came at 9:25 and we were out of there by 9:40pm. We should have just left before the drinks came. Big disappointment.

Sllooooowwww service and mediocre food. No one ever came around, waited over an hour for our food with not one person coming by to check on us or ask if we wanted another drink. This was a pattern I watched since we got there. Multiple tables that were there before us were still waiting for their food. Salsa sucked, service sucked, looonnnngggg wait for food. The one star is for the strawberry margarita. Yikes. The least they could have done is come by to check on us, bring a refill and apologize for the wait. Nope.

Authentic Mexican food at its very finest! Four locations in the Reno Metro offer plenty of choices no matter what part of town you find yourself in...

We went to Mari Chuy's on a Saturday and sat outside. The atmosphere is great and their food is even better. It's in the middle of the new shopping area in Ranchharrah. The facility is clean and tables are not crammed together. The staff is accommodating as well.
