The items lately are starting to taste really oily. I wasn't able to finish my order. I had to dump it out. It is very sad for me to say that it is not pleasant to dine here anymore. Please bring back the old times. You guys were one of the best fastfood seafood place that I used to go to. What happened!?
I know it's unhealthy, buuuut it's suuuper tasty and the service is quite honestly perfect. I know the owner of this location personally and he's a very friendly and thoughtful guy.
We tried the special fish and shrimp with hush puppies and french fries for $6.99 it was very good for the price, just a little bit greasy and Brian did a very good job at the register he was nice and friendly and polite, very good customer service, the only thing I didn't care for was the music playing, I'm an old 80's rocker the music playing was from the 30's, it should be a little more modern, I wanted to leave.

Batter seems slightly different than I remember it, I ate it. Hush puppies were ok. The guy doing drive through was Extremely nice.

Drive through service was good. Two pieces of batter fried fish, 2 small hush puppies, a small serving of overly sweet coleslaw, and a lemonade for $12.00. Really pricey. I think I recall it having better taste at less price with fries n 4 large hush puppies? I was disappointed.
I don't know why I keep coming back to this place. Every piece of food tastes exactly the same. Makes me feel like I first had Covid 20yrs ago.
Haven't been to LJS in 20 years or more... way better than I remember. The breading is delicious
Although the staff was kind, I was very disappointed once hearing items that were craved was no longer available for months - Cod Fish is what placed Long John's back on the map for me along with fresh Jalapeno Peppers! My order was disappointing as it reminded me why I stopped eating there years ago. Before this occurred at least I had the opportunity to eat some great food last year.I'll try back in a few years if managing to keep their doors open.
