I would give 4 stars if it wasn't for our recent experience.Sushi is always good. We come to this place everytime we visit Reno. Unfortunately yesterday our waitress Allison was extremely rude. She talked to us like we were stupid and ruined our usually great kitzmo sushi experience.So food is great, but service was not
Really good sushi just super slow service
First to say we go to a sushi restaurant at least every 2 weeks on average. We usually go to a favorite place in Sparks, yet happened to be in this area and decided to try it. Never been to this one before and it seems there has not been a review in over a year of this place. Right from the beginning, the waitress was not attentive (a white girl with pigtails). It was during afternoon lunch and only one other couple was in there. She came to ask for our drinks (no greeting), and immediately turned and walked away without asking if we were ready to order. The wife filled out the sushi slip of things she wanted. The waitress saw it and came by to grab it; never saying a word and walked away. I spoke up to get her attention to come back as I did not want all you can eat as she likely assumed. Bottom line, better training is needed. on courtesy and interfacing with customers. I got a Bento box. It was ok, but nothing great. The wife didn't like the sushi and showed me very thin cuts of fish with lots of rice under it. A big difference from our usual place for about the same price. The rice was a low quality Chinese style rice instead of the long-grain Japanese rice that many places use. We know the difference. It was also under-cooked as it was not moist. The miso soup was sort of salty and sour (neither of us ate it). So for us, not worth going back even if we will be in the area from time to time. We will just stick to our regular place in Sparks.
1st time there, it was nice! Great value. Friendly service and all you can eat. I don't know how they do it but I'm a fan. Ill go again
Great atmosphere, good sushi and great value. Kitzmo is my new favorite sushi restaurant. I would highly recommend this place! All you can eat.
Great place for sushi. The outside definitely doesn't look like a restaurant, but don't let that stop you. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The all you can eat sushi is a great value. The sushi selection is very good. The taste of the sushi was fantastic. The amount of take out orders picked up while I was there speaks volume to the amount of people that love this restaurant.I highly recommend for anyone wanting to try a new sushi restaurant or in the area. This will definitely become my go to Sushi place.
Good food and loved how it wasn’t busy. Most sushi places are an hour + wait now of days
Took the wife here t'night 4 her b-day dinner it's where she wanted 2 go we've wanted 2 try this place 4 sum time it will not disappoint!!! The sushi was extremely fresh they were very courteous highly recommend the all ya can eat sush. The ratio in the rolls of rice 2 it's filings is excellent they r not tryin 2 stuff ya with more rice, The balance is perfect. We will definitely be back
Most delicious sushi ever ! And excellent cooks .Very nice cooks. Fast prompt and friendly . Great experience every time . Love to sit at the bar with the cooks .
I haven't had bad sushi here yet. Occasionally a roll from all you can eat won't show up & the wait can be long if they're busy. That's everywhere tho. But overall nice.
