1st off I have to say that the service here is awesome! Tina was our waitress and she was fantastic! The reason for the 2 star rating is because the food here at Johnny Rockets at the GSR hotel was some of the worst I have ever tasted. My hamburger was thin dry and burnt. Tina brought me another one. The 2nd Burger was sadly the same. I could feel it lodged in my stomach. My husband slid his hamburger out of the bun and just ate the bun. The fries were OK. The Onion rings very bland. My husband said the best thing about the whole meal was the ketchup. Walked out of there with a $45 bill. I will never go back.
I would love to review the food and service unfortunately I never got to try either of those because after standing at the front of the line waiting to be seated for an hour and 45 minutes I finally gave up. And I know it’s not because they didn’t have any seats available I watched them clean off four tables and there were plenty of seats at the bar available. Out of the seven staff members that I made eye contact with during the time I was at first standing and then sitting waiting none of them bothered to acknowledge me.
Very friendly staff. The food does seem to have some grease, but for me that can be a good thing, because I like "big and nasty" when ever I go to these burger shops. The only reason I don't give a 5 star is the price, but when you compare to how everything is going up it is not that pricey.
This place used to be one of the best Burger joints around took my son here todayI was extremely disappointed they had 9 people workingAnd yet our foods sat under the warming window for over 10 minutes. While the manager sat at the end of the bar like everything was OK. They messed up his shake and it took 15 minutes to get a new 1 ordered 2 beef patties not sure whether they're getting their ground beef from but it tasted like the frozen patties from Costco. You'd like to say this will be the last time I visit.
Everyone here was friendly that’s the only good thing i can say. Food was bearable, would have taken my money to In-n-Out instead. They ran out of milkshakes which doesn’t really make sense to me but oh well. Other than that there needs to be massive improvements here. I did not enjoy my visit today.
Food tasted good, service friendly but slow. The Dinning area was disgusting for the location (in GSR) and price u pay (restaurant prices), desperately needs a renovation. Floor felt sticky. They need to clean (seats, floors, tables) more often.
Waiter Noah is wonderful!! I had the Philly cheesesteak with fries, my wife had the grilled chicken club on sourdough, both were definitely worth the money, we brought back leftovers to our room to have later that night! That's how big the portions are! Great for the money,Whoever was the interior architect on this job, didn't take into account there will be "grease" in the air from fying food, and NOT to use ceramic tiles on the floor, "hot hosing" is the only way of cleaning it, but there's no drains..SO THE FLOOR IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN, SO SLIPPERY, IT'S AS BAD AS ICE!
The servers where friendly. That’s about where my compliments end. Extremely greasy food. Everything was served with plastic cutlery, paper plates and paper cups. Upholstery on the seats is cracking and worn out. The atmosphere is cheap and they still had the nerve to charge $40 for 2 burgers and a shake. Very disappointed and won’t be eating here for next stay at the GSR.
The food was amazing. Burger was vary juciey. Their onion rings were nice and crispyThe only thing that could be improve is the wait time was told 25 minutes. We waited for 40. People (4) that had order after us were getting their food before us. But other wise vary good food and amazing people.
posted close time is 10pm, they close the doors when they feel like it.
