First time trying here and I am not mad the chicken Marsala was on point got it mild and woo it was fire a must try in Reno
This is my absolute favorite place to sit down and eat lunch or dinner. I’ve been going here for about 8 months and the service is incredible. The staff and manager has made an effort to get to know my family and my daughter, to the point where they recognize us when we come in and remember our orders. Everything i’ve tried from this restaurant has been top tier, always brought to the table quickly and hot. I highly recommend going to this place if you’re craving Indian food!
good spot.... the lamb and chicken was slightly dry but I still give this spot a solid 7/10 because that garlic naan was ? ? ?
DO NOT COME HERE!!!! I had come here with my family and we all got the lunch buffet. All of us threw up the food within 10 minutes of leaving the restaurant. Terrible quality, no taste, and just sickening. I hate this place and won’t ever recommend to anyone. Servers were not helpful and we had to sit ourselves without any greeting. Definitely the worst Indian restaurant I’ve been to in my life!!! $70 down the drain.
Food was pretty good here today, as we LOVE our Indian food! Unfortunately, the customer service and the cleanliness of the location was really bad. Wait staff seemed annoyed to help you or answer questions, and did not know their own menu. Dishes, utensils, and floors were dirty, sticky. Restroom was just gross. Even our kids asked why wait staff was so rude. Sad times, if we ever go there again it would be takeout. Drove 45min to try them out ?
Terrible food quality. Seems like the food was old and not fresh. Chicken pieces in the Biryani were undercooked. One of the item in my order was missing. Meat Samosa wasn’t fresh at all. When ordering, I clearly mentioned that I needed silverware because I was staying in a hotel and they did not send me with the silverware. When I called, the receptionist didn’t want to acknowledge the comment that I made while ordering about the need for silverware. Will never recommend this place to anyone.
Came for the lunch buffet. Pretty good selection of mediocre food but no fish and the (delicious) naan came out fresh but after I was already done with my plate. Had to go refill my water glass myself. Not worth the $16.
As an out-of-town traveler in Reno for one night, I placed an online order for pickup. The tandoori tikka salad with chicken was just OK. It came with a tangy yogurt dressing that was nice, but got to be a bit overbearing about halfway through the salad, and I didn't finish it because of that. My entree was the shahi paneer korma, and that was really delicious and flavorful. And I also had an order of the apricot-coconut naan that was amazing. What bothered me about the place was the service. I asked for some plastic ware and the guy seemed a little put out at having to go retrieve it. The worst, though, was their absolute refusal to provide me with a printed receipt for my order. Ordering online can be tricky, sometimes places don't automatically provide a receipt for online orders, but this is the first time I've ever encountered a place that absolutely refused to do so. And they weren't the least bit nice about it, or apologetic. They insisted that I could access my receipt online, but I couldn't. I ordered as a "guest", and I'd already closed the window on my laptop that contained the order, so there was no way to retrieve it. I checked my various email accounts to see if I'd received an emailed copy (some places do this), but there was no email. My company requires a receipt in order for me to get reimbursed for my meals, so this ridiculous, petulant refusal by them cost me nearly $30.In summary, if you want some delicious Indian cuisine in Reno, and you don't care about unfriendly service, and you don't require a receipt for reimbursement, this is a good spot to check out.
Indian food became myFavorite food because of this restaurant!Coming here for years. If youHave never had Indian I always suggest coming for the lunch buffet and try a few dishes instead of just ordering 1 thing. My fav. Is the chicken tikka Marsala; can’t go wrong with that. ? No other Indian restaurant in town compares.Enjoy!
Ignored all the restaurants in the area and went to this place but Regretted. Nothing tasted even close to any indian food . I will suggest them not to put out the fork and knife on table without wrapping them in napkins. Ordered food and wanted to order a side of rice the manager said it comes with the order but never got it. Biryani was not even close to biryani. Tandori was old seemed reheated. And very dry not good species at all. Chana chat was not good at all either . Over all the place has not a good taste if you have ever tasted Pakistani Or Indian cousins dont bother going here because You will regret it. Review is based on personal experience at 12/05/2021 6:15pm order was taken by manager him self .
