Whether you're a Reno local or just passing through, Hub Coffee Roasters Riverside has great coffee, pastries and atmosphere. Beautiful spot right on the Truckee River to enjoy your morning coffee.
Delicious coffee, friendly staff and patrons. Met these two there but unfortunately forgot their names. Cool local Reno joint. Walking along the Truckee? Stop in for a cup.
The coffee is very good here and the whole bean prices are reasonable (~$18 for 12 oz) and roasted weekly. It seems to be a pretty popular place for young people and locals. The music was pretty loud/bassy.Drinks are pricey with shots of espresso starting at $3.50, $4.50 for a latte, and similar for specialty drinks. Their espresso blend is seasonal. Currently, it is a light roasted, bright and nutty coffee. It looks like they have at least two options for batch brew coffee ($2.35 for 8 oz, $2.60 for 12 oz, $3.15 for 16 oz, which are good prices). Their seasonal lemon latte is very tasty as well.I was surprised to hear that they did not offer complimentary sparkling water with the espresso, which similar places do. Given the quality of the coffee, I'd probably buy bags of coffee from here, but I was not too impressed by the drink prices for what they offered.
it's modern and a bit gentrified. The prices are good although, you spend a few extra for that gentrification. Otherwise, the spot is pleasant and near the river. It's placed strategically for those gentle strolls to the park. You will enjoy a relaxing time there but you'll consider if it's actually worth the almost finished coffee you certainly will be tossing into the bin. I guess you're paying for the "location, location, location."if it's windy out or cool, do bring something to keep you warm. The wind loves the mini plaza there and the coffee you ordered can only do so much.
Been here a bunch of times and always impressed by the friendly greetings and excellent service. Plus great coffee and tons of variety. Nice to see employees that love thier jobs and make you feel welcomed.
Chocolate crossaint was very fresh. Coffee was good but every question I asked I was told "no you can't do that". You can't add flavors and switch drinks around. Not very accommodating. And only have 3 milk types. Whole, oat and half n half. No almond or coconut?!?!?!
This is a fantastic coffee place. I also got an almond croissant which was hot and flakey and out of the oven and great too. Nice to sit indoors or outside. By a lot of other cool restaurants and shops too. Highly recommended.
Needed an afternoon pick me up. Stopped at this local coffee shop in downtown Reno. Was recommended by the staff at another local shop. Very cool concept, a bike shop and coffee shop in one. Vince took care of us and made a lovely Snickerdoodle Oat Milk Latte. It was a wonderful treat. Loved their use of paper cups and lids, great to see this eco friendly option. Would love to come back to sit on the patio and people watch nearby.
Cute location by the river, friendly baristas, but I find their coffee to be a bit on the sour side. Regardless, I still go there when on a long walk and in need of something cozy to drink
Great little coffee shop right down by the river. What else can you say about these guys, they are awesome, too bad they lost their parking.
