The staff was very nice and welcoming The food was yummy. We had the spicy chicken sandwich and the carne asada nacho.
Had lunch with my niece at Mexica. The service and food were both excellent! It's not always easy to find places to eat that cater to a vegan diet. Mexica nailed it. I hope to be able to eat there again when I visit the area again from Vermont. To the owners, thank you so much for sharing a little bit of your culture, your kindness, and the most delicious vegan cuisine. May you prosper and be blessed.
Absolutely fantastic space with such a relaxing vibe. The food was incredible. The service impeccable! I wished I lived in Reno because I would visit often!If you’re trying to go more plant-based, definitely give this a try. Vegans- you will LOVE it!
Five stars!! Absolutely incredible food and the Staff members are so kind and helpful. As a person with dietary restrictions, it is hard to find safe options. House of Mexica offers vegan food that is so incredibly good. My family and I will keep coming back. Thank you, so much for always being so sweet and kind.
There aren't many Vegan options in Reno or Sparks but this place right here is THE ONE!! I had the nachos and Tacos (asada). So so good and I'm definitely going to be a returning customer.

What a treat to find delicious home-cooked vegan Mexican food in Reno. It is obvious by the flavor that love is put into the cooking. As a family run business, we also appreciated how much energy they have put into serving healthy food. Though we ate outside on a nice day, the space inside is welcoming, open, and we could feel the great energy as we walked in the doors (so many potted cacti!). We had never had mulitas before, learned about what makes her sauce al pastor, and enjoyed them immensely. And the nopales are just one of the many signs that they serve authentic vegan Mexican food. So excited to return and try everything on the menu.
The place is just so cozy. I love the ambience and service! Vegan Nacho, tacos and burrito was tasty! They also offer vegan burgers and lots more. I can't wait to try more vegan food from this place. Oh! Not to mention best tasting horchata too!
