I don’t know what people see in this place. Slow and overpriced. The waiter wouldn’t go away and kept on telling jokes that weren’t even funny. I ordered the avocado tartine and it tasted gross. Let’s set aside whether one slice of avocado toast should cost $14. Why put sugary chili sauce on it? It was unbearably sweet and oily. I couldn’t even finish, and I always finish what I order or take the leftover to go. And it doesn’t help that we waited at least 45 minute for the toast and a sandwich. Definitely won’t go back.

I live down the street from Homage and always wanted to try it. I wish I'd done it sooner! The coffee is very good; I had a southwestern skillet with plant-based chorizo, richly roasted veggies, and an absolutely perfect egg on top. My friend had the Dutch baby with ham and gruyere and it was silky and delicious. They have mimosas too. The whole menu looks so good I'm going back in a day or two. And again...

If you want an almost Seattle coffee-shop ambiance, this would fit the bill. A bit too preachy with their politics but look past this and the bakery stuff is super. They know how to make a good latte. Friendly staff, good ambiance, very un-Reno.

Been there a few times, bakeries not too bad but seems there's a problem with some of the staff. It's in the neighborhood short walk. But as of late it seems kind of weird. Ordered a pie and liked it even though it was nearly fifty dollars. A week later returned and even though they have it available they would not sell it. The previous times I visited bought a Lattie the young lady at the coffee machine made it a dream. This was on the third visit she was asked to go in the back, as one of the other staff made it, to add it was pretty bad. I went back two more times and the same continued to happen. After pie incident I have decided to look elsewhere for my comfort food. If this is how a veteran is treated, I do feel for thoughts who are not.

Coffee and drinks & ambience are decent (if expensive), but deceptive pricing with hidden charges sours the experience, didn’t give us confidence in their business and made our visit uncomfortable. We ordered a nice $5.50 latte on the menu which had an incredible $1.43 (or 26%) labeled Tax at checkout - which didn’t make sense, and we discovered in the receipt there was a 16% Service Charge hidden in there - no mention of this on their menu or from the cashier. I’d have appreciated if they explained this to us or posted it very noticeably on the menu for transparency, or simply raised the prices. I’m more than happy to pay to support creative local businesses! Just don’t pull stuff like this and hope customers don’t notice.

Great service. Loved their breakfast croissant. The coffee was good too. It's not the best coffee I've ever had, but it was good enough that with the food and the great service, it's deserving of a 5 star review.

beautifully-presented food, excellent coffee, friendly staff. 10/10I got biscuits and gravy with a mexican mocha. The sausage in the gravy was phenomenal and the biscuits were perfectly moist and dense. The sunny-side-up eggs on top really rounded out the meal and looked amazing too.

Friendly service and good food/drinks! Their lemon lavender bar is always a good choice, I just got their bergamot cream pie and it's great. Quite similar to key lime pie, but less tangy. The chocolate cream pie is also delicious, not overly rich. The shroom magic drink is good, earthy but sweet and so many benefits from mushrooms!

Great service and spiced tea. We weren't harassed for not wearing a ridiculous mask. Relaxed and accepting atmosphere.

My wife and I come here pretty often. The staff is always extremely friendly. Sometimes the line gets a bit long but that shows you this place makes great products so it's worth any wait time.Their pastries and pies are delicious and pairing any of them with a cup of coffee is a great addition to your Saturday morning.
