Great tour and owner/guide was very knowledgeable and appreciated all the questions. Sample shots were great, too!
The only reason to go to Reno! No offense. We were in Reno waiting to fly home from our Lake Tahoe vacation. With no idea what to do we started the search. We came across this distillery and do not regret stopping in one bit. The owner was was so informative during the tour and explained why their spirits were of better quality. It was clearly his passion. I suggest trying the lemoncello and chocolate vodka.
My Groupon was almost expired for the two person tour plus shot glasses, so I jumped on it and grabbed my friends who also purchased the same Groupon. It was finally time to go and so glad we did!
I've never had a distillery tour like this one and I've been on a few distillery tours in my life. They are GREAT. Real craft, real honest and real good. Went for the groupon tour and tasters, left with two bottles and a whole lot more distilling knowledge. A Reno must visit spot.
We got a great tour and had the chance to enjoy some awesome spirits! If you have the opportunity, Forsaken River Spirits shows how great the local distillery scene can be! Definitely recommend a visit!
James gave us a nice tour with samples of his spirits. Looking forward to a return visit.
My wife and I both enjoyed the tour and ended up walking out with a bottle of Gin and Chocolate vodka but we'll likely be coming back for the Limoncello and Rye Patch Whiskey.
