I booked a luxury king room that was supposed to be non-smoking and recently renovated. The room stunk and reeked of smoke. It was not a dedicated non-smoking room at all and the smell made me gag. The furnishings were near with a nice chaise sofa. The view was a weird rooftop with glowing blue ball. The only plus in the room was the comfortable bed. The smell was so terrible that I am concerned about smelling like a cigarette at my meetings tomorrow.
Great casino to get away from home and have a great time to vacation. good restaurants available throughout the row, and great drinks , casino slot games give out good prizes and hotel experience was good
Front staff wrote the wrong room number on the key holder folder. The keys would not work so maintenance that was nearby let me into the room. I called down to let front desk know the keys do not work. Only to be told I'm in the wrong room. The front staff was extremely rude and nasty. They made the mistake not me! The place was dead on arrival. Absolutely no business. The entire fourth of July wkend. I have never seen Reno Nevada in such bad shape. The room carpet is nasty and need to be updated. I usually stay at the Silver Legacy. I will never stay or play at the Eldorado again. This place is only out to get your money!!!
The front desk service was great. Room was really clean and disinfected because we smelled bleach the whole first day( which wasn't pleasant) The shower was horrible, Had no water pressure due to most of the water was coming out of tub spout. The pillows were very uncomfortable. I definitely wouldn't choose here to sleep again. But as far as the ROW we had a great 2 days of relaxation and fun.
Had a great stay. Quick check in process, very responsive and helpful customer service team, no complaints over than the residual smoke smell in the room but honestly I didn’t mind it. If it bothered me, though, I’m sure staff would be kind enough to accommodate me into another room but the smell went away after a while, or I just got used to it.
Amazing resort and hotel! The amenities were perfect and the room checked into was spotless and clean. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Came from the Bay Area just for a day or two and felt right at home. Thank you to everyone and the staff 5 star resort and just such an amazing stay! Thank you!!
You can tell that they do their best at trying to keep this place clean, the room was small but clean, but it still is in Reno. You walk outside and the local street people are awful and confrontational, and I was only there on a Tuesday. The service at the video poker bars isn't great. I bet $5 bucks a hand and 20 hands per minute and the service doesn't reflect that. I was served one drink within first 5 minutes, and there were only two other players at this bar. The bartender didn't come back to me for 1/2 an hour. I don't play for drinks , but it's always nice to know that while playing I will be taken care of.At 2 p.m I went to the coffee bar to get a quick snack and a cup of coffee. The employee ignored me as I was next in line, after a few minutes the customer in front of me informed me that they are closed. There was NO SIGN, the employee just said, "Yeah, I'm going on break." She ( the employee) could have informed me as I walked up. So, I assume this place only schedules 1 staff per day. There are not alot of food options here so this was disappointing. Overall, not a good place unless you are just coming in for a couple of hours and aren't planning to eat or drink.
Booked the Eldorado because of the rate and the Trip Advisor reviews. Booked the basic King Room and were very happy with it. No spectacular view as we looked out on a roof and a big white sphere (no idea what it was). Room was obviously completely updated not long ago. Very nice furnishings and the bathroom was great. We just booked the basic king size room (Luxury). Very comfortable bed/pillows. If we ever are back for a few $ more, I would book the PREMIUM king as it has a couch. Nice when staying for 2 or more nights. Ice machine was pretty close to our room. It should be noted that the rates quoted do NOT include the resort fee of $30! I asked what amenities you got for the fee and was told Wi-Fi, coffee maker, fridge and all normal items you would find in any Hampton Inn, Best Western etc. Crazy, but you can't get around it and I don't know they don't just include it with the room rate and be done with it.
We visited Reno for the first time on our way to a wedding and this hotel was awesome. Our room was amazing, the hole place was clean inside and out. The food and drinks were great and I can't wait to return. Everyone was friendly and helpful. You will enjoy this place.
I was just here for the day to get my fingerprints done for my RN license. Decided to stay here because of the proximity to the river walk and also a festival was just right out the door. Napped through the festival, however. Woke up at 9pm but was able to find something to eat at one of their restaurants that stays open late. The resort has a tiny gym enough to get your heart pumping until you get back to your gym. The pool opens at 9am. Valet parking was really fast and only $10 for the entire stay. There were tons of Birds parked across the street from the valet entrance. It was quite fun zipping around on them electric scooters. Easy pairing with the app. I was comfortable in my room but the room didn’t look like the picture from when I booked my reservation ? but my sheets where soft and my bed firm as I need it to be. My room was clean and water pressure was great. Reno is so tiny. Seemed like a ghost town but I guess there’s nothing wrong with fewer people.
