Our favorite Mexican Restaurant in Reno. We dine here everytime we're in town (to visit our kids).Good margaritas and good food. Camaron ala Diabla is my fave.

The food is always very good. The prices are good. The service is always good. We've been many times. It's our go to Mexican restaurant. I especially like the mole sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant. Try it, you'll like it.

KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS AND CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNT!!! I left a cash tip on the table so I wrote a zero tip on the card receipt, turned out that the server ended up adding herself her own tip on top of that on my card. Not only was the food mediocre and the server was rude, she added herself an extra tip and when I called the restaurant to speak to the manager, the employee who answered the phone mocked and laughed about me asking for the manager. This place takes the word "UNPROFESSIONAL" to a whole new level. The server name on the receipt says Beatris, the manager's son is Javier, who still hasn't refunded my card, the manager Raul still hasn't gotten back to me after over a week since the incident. I tried to be patient with them but over a week later they still haven't corrected the charge. AVOID THIS PLACE, the food is very overpriced, their service is terrible, and they're proving to be unprofessional and apparently even corrupt, IT'S NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE, let this place get shut down, it's a shame to good Mexican restaurants. And I just noticed there are several other reviews stating that the same tip scam was done to them at this exact same place, BEWARE!And then instead of taking care of the corruption issue with their staff, they spend more time replying defensively online with personal information about which city you live in and other irrelevant information, claiming something about TikTok which I never mentioned since I've never had TikTok... Pathetic.

This place is delicious don't get me wrong but they WILL nickel and dime you. They charge you extra on damn near ANYTHING. Jalapeños? Extra charge. Carne asada? extra charge. If you get an item and take almost everything off of it (my husband had crohns disease) they'll charge you full price.I've never seen a Mexican restaurant nickel and dime this bad especially for jalapeños AND carne asada?? It's good but they overcharge way too much.I know they're sending a kid to college so maybe she's/he's getting into Harvard I don't know but over priced. I think it's definitely easy to get away with when the local and tourist gueros don't know any better

Nice place to eat. Good food, good service. Nothing special to make me want to make it a destination. If I was in the area and wanted Mexican food I would consider it.

It was a quaint authentic place with a lengthy menu. Unfortunately as it often the case with authentic Mexican food places there were very few accommodations for non meat eaters...the rice had a chicken broth and they didn't have any vegetarian black beans. They really need to be more sensitive to a diverse clientele...

Great place to eat. Staff is great. Food is hot when you get it.

Great food! My husband and I loved this place! We are definitely coming back! Amazing customer service!

From out of town and was looking for some pick me up food and found this lovely gem. We ordered soup. Boyfriend ordered maneudo and I order bowl de Birria. Boyfriend LOVED his but I was too hungover to eat. However, I took it to go and was able to eat it when we got back to the hotel and let me just say, IT WAS AMAZING! Now I’m back in California and cannot find anything that compares. Can not WAIT to get back! Thanks so much for the great service and amazing food.

Beware of prices. Check your bill before paying. The menu are for Cash prices. But your tab will automatically be more because they charge extra for credit cards but they do not tell you. So if you do pay your bill in cash have them redue your tab. Also the menu does not mention the prices are for cash only. Also Expensive place for the type of food they serve.
