Mexican Salad Fast Food

The food (especially the sweet pork tacos) is always fantastic. Service is consistently good. Love the fact they make the taco shells right there in front of you.My only complaint is the price. We only come here with a coupon, otherwise i consider it not worth it.

I loved the freshness of the ingredients and the concept of putting together your own Mexican tacos, enchiladas and salad bowls like Subway sandwiches. My only regret is that they don't serve fresh corn tortillas (or beer!). Their homemade flour tortillas however are delicious.

I ordered a salad bar from Tim. I was quoted $320 for approximately 20 people with extra meat and chips and guacamole. The delivery driver clled when he was on his way and asked if someone was bringing a "Cart". We received the food, requested a receipt. My coworker was informed to call the store. After several calls I got in touch with Rose the store mnager. She immediately sent the receipt. I noticed there is a $45 +tax cjarge for dispatch. I tried to calling the GM Franciso to discuss this. I sent Francisco a text message with no response. I reviewdd my credit card, there were 2 separate transactions. I spoke with Francisco today to discuss this. I was informed that due to the price of fuel this charge was instated. I told him that fee may be appropriate if there was discussion UPFRONT, and if the delivery was more than 3 miles. I am involved in a lot of catered lunches and I have never been so completely disappointed by the lack of professionalism. We will not be doing business here EVER

Super friendly staff. Sweet pork was awesome as always. The vegetables were a bit past freshness. Restaurant was clean.

Update 5/27: Had someone from the main corporate office reach out about the unfortunate past experiences with management and food quality. He was very thorough and understanding and did not tell me I was wrong and genuinely wanted to change my experience. Hopefully they’re able to make some changes with the Reno location, as I know many people other than me are hoping for. I’ll be updating in a few more days or removing this review. The stars I did give were for the fantastic customer service from the corporate office.Update 5/26: Received a response from the management of this location. It was very blunt and rude, and he was quick to tell me I was incorrect in the food quality because they already had an inspector come out. How can anyone expect to trust this location when the quality is only higher on inspection days? I wish I could leave zero stars.5/23: I have not heard anything back or received a response from the person in management who emailed me initially. They pretty much dismissed the issue and said “I’m sorry you found an ant in your salad, but we already take sanitary precautions”Initial review: This food is unclean, unsafe, and is filled with fungus gnats. Health inspector needs to come by this place asap before anyone gets sick.*Found bugs in lettuce of my salad and lettuce was rotting. Stay away from this location.

You can never go wrong with a burrito from Costa Vida. Such a variety of flavors to choose from. If your in the mood for zesty, they got it. Spicy, bam you got it. If you've never had it. Go try it.

Found bugs in lettuce of my salad and lettuce was rotting. Stay away from this location- health hazard.

The food was excellent and the manager here is just so freaking wonderful. No complaints whatsoever.

The last we came here (around 2 months ago in December) the employees were great, the servings were good for the price, and I would of gave it 5 stars but now there is a whole new staff and there is less portion sizes while still the same price and it's gotten slower. I would not recommend this place if you don't want to spend a lot of money for not alot of food.

Terrible customer service from the manager. Our company had submitted a large online order last week, to pick up this past Monday the 14th at 11:30. We had a very specific window in which we needed to be able to serve lunch, 12:00-1:00. When we got there to pick it up, the order had been printed but not yet even started. We had to wait for an hour for the food to be cooked, and then realized they forgot the tortillas when we got back to serve it. The manager was generally rude to us while we sat and waited and seemed to blame us for the mishap. We have done thousands of dollars of business with Costa Vida in the past few years, but Qdoba has been way more accommodating (and polite!!), so we will be giving Costa Vida a break for a while.
