My absolute favorite place to hang out. I don't really drink coffee, but they have tons of tea and Italian soda options. The food is limited but good, the tamales are excellent. I've always found the staff to be friendly and welcoming, it's just a great place to sit down and play games for a few hours.
I've only had the coffee here so far but it tastes really good I enjoy going everytime I'm near. The baristas who work here were really friendly and helped make the experience better. Will definitely be going back.
After a failed attempt to have coffee somewhere across town (??) I came here to this fine establishment. Upon walking in a really cool vibe hits you, the employees smile and are so welcoming. Lots of seating, truly friendly staff and fellow patrons. I ordered a Vanilla Lavender Latte and I absolutely LOVE IT(????????)!!! Plus, I got two MOTHER OF MACROS clean cheatz donuts and three stickers!They also serve adult beverages (beer, ale, wine, etc), burgers, muffins, etc., along with comics. While here you can play board games, video games or watch Bobs Burgers or whatever is on the TV.I truly am super excited about this place!!! I give it 6 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My favorite place in town. Always an activity going on. Staff is easygoing, creative and passionate.The cafe drinks are super sugary so on cheat day, I go all out. On diet days I just grab pomegranate tea. I love the protein donuts and avocado toast.DnD, comedy nights, cosplay and autograph sessionsThis place is never dull!
Food and drinks are good and it's an amazing place! But the staff are kind of cold. :/Went in the 24th at 9am and they wouldn't talk to you. Not even to tell you your total.I saw another guy try to make small talk and they gave him the cold shoulder. They ignored everyone. Made the atmosphere super awkward and uncomfortable so I left.
Located in an outdoor strip mall, you’d never guess geek heaven was somewhere next to a Chinese restaurant in Reno. This place has it all—friendly service, comics, games (including a free Mortal Kombat arcade game), tables for games, and collectibles. (April 2022)
I love comics and coffee! Great place for a dirty Chai and their fogs are amazing on top of that they got great DnD merch. Only complaint is the staff. The men are charming when they're there but I come in almost daily and the pink haired girl always has the coldest attitude. First visit I just assumed she was having a day.I'm not entitled to anything I didn't pay for but it gets uncomfortable after the 5th time there. She makes you feel guilty for ordering a coffee because it seems like an inconvenience. They're always friendly with people at the bar but I'll assume those are regulars. She takes pride in making customers feel stupid and that ruins a vibe to one of the most special places reno has.
I do want to clarify I cannot speak for their coffee or food products. Only the merchandise.Came in and saw they had Brilliant stars booster boxes in stock. Only place in town I could find them. That excitement was quickly ruined when I noticed they charge over 30 dollars over market value for them. In some places even more than 30. 150 dollars for a box you can pick up for 115 online.Will not support stores scalping prices.
