Pretty decent place to get a good salad. I don't recommend the new lobster salad, I found maybe five small pieces. Overall, decent place for a decent salad.
Our family was passing through Reno, NV and really need some healthy food after eating out all week. Looked up salads on Yelp! and this popped up. I got the Cobb salad and added some chick peas for extra protein. Hubby got the South Western Choppuritto and loved the spiciness. Kid got the wraps and we got 4 pretzels to go to snack on later in the day. Very covid conscious and employees were friendly and food was awesome! When are you opening up in Michigan?

I threw the employee off by taking pics & said I did these for Google Maps, my bad I guess. She seemed ok after I explained it. Food quality was good, a little pricey as others have noted, but very clean & bathrooms were in superb condition & cleanliness - that’s a big thing for me. They have a drive through & their containers are compostable!!! Overall, I like this place & would come back.
Poor quality of salad - charged extra (bot poated on sign) for chicken. Tiny peices of chicken and low quantity of chicken. Better salads at BJs or Flowing tide for the price.
While veggies, lettuce & greens appear to cost less than meat; the reality is they need more prep & resources than meat. Veggies spoil fast & must be shipped & stored in way that allows air to flow, then washed and dried before processed into a salad. With that being said my salad was good and I don't fully agree with reviews stating that it is "over priced for just a salad". However for the price I do feel it could have been a little better for an $11 salad. I do prefer Laughing Planet for this reason but I will visit Chop Stop again. It is wonderful to have fresh veggies available instead of just meat.
Every time we try to order they take forever, in person or online. Just set on hold for almost 10 minutes. The food is fine, but let’s be real, it’s lettuce in a bowl, and shouldn’t be so complicated to get a quick salad to go.
$11.89 for a salad, I had the house mix,chicken,cucumber, broccoli, red onion, cilantro, and crispy onion, roasted garlic. The total salad was about a cup and a half not sure how much of each item was added but not enough of any of them to notice. New employee on the register and the manager was not kind to her when she needed assistance. I might try again but most likely not, too expensive and manager was not friendly.
Ex-employee here.It’s very unsanitary: managers don’t wear gloves or masks and tickets are put directly into the salads. I was scheduled to work 5 days but only given 1 shirt, and the shirt I was given was already dirty and used. I was not properly trained: I was working with large knives and machines but never given any safety training. I had to ask for breaks. I had to do my own investigating because they ignored my multiple attempts to get my final check. I located the payroll company’s contact information and got it that way and still never heard from management. So, they clearly had no intention of paying me. It was just a mess. I was told by multiple employees and the manager herself, that “no one ever stays.” Well, no one wants to be over-worked and unappreciated at the same time.
Just had the Santa Fe salad substituted with Salmon. So delicious! Love the concept of this chain. All chopped salads.
This was my first time here and omg this place is amazing. Haley helped me order and was very helpful. Best salad experience I’ve ever had!!!!!
