Chapos is one of the most exciting, good looking sports bars in Reno. Located in a perfect location and with the most awesome staff. Very friendly, and attentive to our needs. Definitely recommend them to everyone in town or coming to town. Coolest bar I’ve been to in a while for sure. Go check them out!
Love this place ! Drinks are amazing but the service is what keeps bringing me back to this amazing place. Definitely recommend to come try their food and drinks !
This place implements an 18% gratuity on EVERY single check, regardless of party size. No signs are posted on this gratuity. When I saw my check the waitress said "The tip is already included, so no need to worry". What if people don't want to tip, want to tip more. they can't! Their service could have been better, with more attentiveness from our waiter. The reasoning when speaking to the manager about the added tip was "Many people come here and don't tip", as if it were MY problem people aren't tipping! You only get the customer copy and not merchant copy of the receipt tolook at. I ordered their nachos, the chips were sunken in cheese, to where the chips were soggy before I even got them. Nachos lack beans and pico (typical for nachos).
Curb appeal. But it delivers!! This place is way elevated over just a sports bar. Great atmosphere delightful staff! Try the Tamarindo shot
Chapo Sports Bar is the place to be! Family friendly during the day to get a bite with your loved ones! Food is great and so are their unique drinks! Totally recommend.
This sports bar has it all, great bar food/Mexican food, delicious hand crafted cocktails, and micheladas. Aside from the food and drinks there's a very nice ambiance, the staff are all attentive and kind. There's also board games to play as well as a pool table and ping pong table! Definitely recommend checking this place out!
I really liked this place their drinks are amazing, but they unfortunately ruined it for me tonight.Today would have been my second time going. When I asked the waiter for the check she came back and said,” So I forgot to mention that we charge 18% gratitude for the tables. You don’t have to pay it since I didn’t tell you before hand.” I responded, “I normally give 20% but if you wanna charge the 18% go ahead.” I wasn’t going to sit there and make a big deal about it.Let me clarify that the first time I went, it was 6 of us and they didn’t charge me gratitude. So why all of a sudden two weeks later when it’s 3 of us are they charging that. There were no signs saying that if you say at a table it was an 18% gratitude.
Service is amazing, staff is super kind and fun! Drinks and food are delicious! Music is great too. Overall great vibes, I definitely recommend!! :)
The drinks are AMAZING. (Highly recommend the Strawberry/Blueberry mojito and the Besitos). Amazing music, been needing a place that plays reggaeton on the regular! Also the tacos be fire.
Drinks and service were pretty good but $10 service fee for using a debit card sounds a bit ridiculous (the most I’ve had was $1.50 fee and that was if it was under a certain amount) and on top of that we weren’t told beforehand, we were given a bill before we paid and after we gave our cards it was a different amount.
