Wow what a nice place to sit down and enjoy amazing food and drink! Location is quant but beautiful inside with the art and also nice views of outside! Right next door to 1864 Tavern and kiddy corner to Nevada Museum of Art! Delicious tapas and yummy drinks! Service was quick, fresh and beautifully plated! I highly recommend coming here, a must try!

Best restaurant in Reno! Amazing tapas and the cocktails are great too!

I so so wanted to love Centro South. I have been a strong supporter of Centro Midtown for years. The value and quality are missing in the south location. They ARE NOT Vegetarian friendly regardless of what the profile says. The menu my friend and I had, there was not one thing on there a vegetarian could have ate unless you asked the kitchen to remove ingredients. The food was bland at best and was so expensive. We spent close to $100 for 4 items on the bill. We also left and went to eat someplace else because we were still starving. VERY small portions, even for Tapas. Not great for sharing because there is barely enough for one person.

Sometimes even a great kitchen makes a mistake. What makes a great kitchen awesome is when the kitchen fixes the mistake by going above and beyond. That is what happened with us. There was a small mistake on our 3rd dish. The kitchen and waitress were awesome in correcting it! The food, service and drinks were just amazing. They are first come, first serve, which is badly missing in so many other places! No need to make reservation a week in advance, just show up and you will have a great meal soon enough!

We dined here a couple of years ago when they opened this location. We came back Saturday, and we are so glad we did. We live the Tapas style food, which by the way is, so good, the drinks are so original and delicious. We will continue visiting.

Would have been a good experience as the food was really great, but the other table seated on the patio thought shouting expletives to each other was the best way to communicate their words. Def took the shine off the evening. We’ll try again another night as the food was good, but the atmosphere was a bummer.

I really enjoy the small plate format when dining with friends and Centro Bar & Kitchen didn't disappoint. We all had fun sampling a variety of tasty dishes - we each had a different favorite. The service was exceptional; very knowledgable and helpful. They have some nice wines by the glass.

I really enjoyed a late dinner and cocktails here. The service was exceptional. The tapas were all delicious. We had Pork Belly, Gnocchi, and Sticky Ribs. That and 4 adult beverages were $75. I will definitely return to try more of the menu.

I do not leave many reviews and rarely leave negative ones as I understand everyone has a bad day. That being said I am very disappointed with Centro, not only was their Valentine's Dinner small and over priced but the Wed after Valentine's I hand delivered the letter below to Centro management and have not heard back from them. Very disappointed. To the Proprietors of Centro, I have been a fan of your establishment for may years now which is why I was excited to take my girlfriend there for Valentine's Day and our six-month anniversary. I was pleased when I called, and you still had a table left and though I thought the $75 a person was a bit pricy for this town I was sure that it would be worth it. I will admit that I have not always liked everything I have had but it has always been interesting, and I was sure that for Valentines Day it would be well worth it. When I made the reservation, I was told it was a set menu and when asked what it was going to be and the gentleman taking my reservation was not able to tell me I was not worried as I knew it would be a nice surprise and yes some of that is true. We were wowed by the soup and the steak was cooked to perfection and if there were more than two finger sized strips of it, it would have been well worth it, but that is all there was, two strips barely the size of my thumbs. I know Centro is known for their small plates and that would have been fine if it was a 7-course dinner not a 3 course one. But still even with the small portions would have been okay if everything wowed but the salad was boring and bitter, and the desert was bland. We had both and one of the deserts tasted like bland supermarket angel cake with frosting and the other was okay but really nothing I would have ordered. It is truly disappointing when the pre-dinner orderve out shone the desert. All would have been a fine dinner for around $40 on a regular night, $50 on valentines. The wine was okay and the extra $10 per person was appropriate. I think the most disappointing thing for me was that after expressing our feelings to the waitress she just brought the bill. I formally managed a restaurant, and I would have never let a customer leave my restaurant without at least trying to make it right somehow, but no attempt was made. I would have expected better from Centro. I understand that the chef is new and Valentine's is a busy night so I wanted reach out privately as I thought you should know so something like this will not happen again.

Absolutely the most amazing food experience. The taste, the presentation, the ambience and the service is absolutely flawless!! 5 stars and a must experience for the discerning foodie!
