A great way to end a bachelor party weekend, and with 13 of us we recreated “The Last Supper”. (Apologies to any other patrons for our boisterous noise.) The Elk Chops we’re utterly fantastic!!

To preface this, my wife and i only eat out once or twice a year and we are both steak lovers so our choices tend to be steakhouses. I had never heard of Bricks, but the wife found it on google, so we decised to give it a shot.To begin; parking was a bit confusing, but once i found the right turn in it was fine. The place was clean. I know that seems like a given, but my last steakhouse i went to was filthy. The bathroom, entry area and dining area were very well maintained. I even went over the top and checked the window for dust and nothing, this was an amazing thing for me.Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable and personable. She made recommendations and responded to questions with a smile that just made you feel at home. While she was attending to orders and other tables, a gentleman would come around checking our beverages and removing plates or bringing more bread. The staff here are on point. Our appetizer, a baked mushroom cap dish was both well presented and something i hadn't had before. Not my cup of tea, but the missus adored them. The bread was warm, fresh and plentiful. At no point did i think i should save the last piece because i always knew more would arrive, something i dont experience too often. For our dinners, i am a filet man, so i judge all steakhouses on how well their filet is. They did not disappoint, cooked to a perfect medium rare, the texture melted in your mouth. The creamy mashed potatoes served with it were delectable, soft and garlicky. The missus ordered their special, elk chops, an experience to say the least as we have never had elk. At first i thought it was under done with as red as the meat was, but once you took a bite the flavor hit you, texturally it was a bit tougher than my filet however once it hit your tongue you realize that the redness was perfectly cooked, both tender and seasoned well.As for the price, we did end up spending over $100 per person, but that included the wine, appetizer and dessert so i didnt mind the cost and felt it was comparable to other restaurants in the steakhouse category. All in all, Bricks has a well earned reputation. The courteous nature of the staff, on top of an amazing chef made this experience one to remember. I will definantly eat here again and highly recommend you give it a try.

I took my younger sister here for her birthday and it was just the two of us. We did not make reservations so we arrived right at 5pm, with hopes they could fit us in. The staff was amazing. We were seated immediately and received perfect service. The food was amazing, beautiful, filling and perfectly timed. They had a nice wine selection and I look forward to returning. I have and will continue to recommend this little gem to anyone in the Reno Sparks area!

The finest dining in Reno. Understated ambiance, professional servers, excellent food perfectly prepared. The freshest seafood I've had since moving here six years ago. Pacing lands nicely between American fast and Continental slow.

We chose Brick's for Dad's birthday surprise celebration and it was amazing! There were a lot of logistics involved with sibs arriving at different times, etc., but Jeanne was a joy to work with and went out of her way to ensure this was a truly special event for our dad. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious - great portions as well. Drinks were great too! It felt like the team was just as excited about our surprise as we were! This is a truly special place! Thank you Jeanne!!

As we were leaving after a wonderful dinner, and complementing the hostess on a great experience, another customer came up and said “This is the best restaurant in Reno.” We would agree. The service is absolutely perfect and the food is even better. Wide assortment of fine dining options, including four “specials” last night. One of these was abalone, which I chose and which was excellent. My wife and I had spinach salads to be begin, which were absolutely wonderful and she had halibut (“best I have had in a long time,” she said) . I tasted it and agreed. We cannot say enough good about this restaurant. If you are looking for fast food or a hamburger, this is not your place. If you want a fine dining experience, it is.

This is a well known steakhouse for Reno. It's been here for years and is what you would expect for a nicer steak house. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The appetizers felt small for the price but were delicious and the dessert felt the same. The main courses (Rib eye and Salmon) were the stars of the show.

My first time ever!! LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. I had elk my wife the lamb chopsExcellent. We had abalone also amazing. Our server, Hidie was fantastic and fun. We are definitely going back soon!

This was my first time here. Our reservations were at 5pm on a weekday. We were the only ones there for about a half an hour, but it quickly filled up. The restaurant ended up being full and VERY busy. In spite of that we had top notch service! The whole staff worked really well together and they were all very professional. My water glass was never empty. ? And of course, the food was delicious. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food. Will definitely be going back. You will not be disappointed.

Party of five. Quality of steaks were far, far less than anticipated. Ended up sending the NY steak back. Slightly overdone from what I wanted and steak was very thin. Quality was much less when you compare prices ($50 for the steak) to other restaurants. It was anything but tender. Plus there was loads of salt on it. Vegetables were good.Service was fair, possibly due to lack of available workers. The people were genuinely nice but seldom visited the table. Normally the waiter comes partway through the meal to check on how you are doing. This didn't happen. The entire party did mention that their food was no where what had been expected.Last time there for me.
