Awesome place! We walked to the Black Rock for a sweet treat after dinner. The atmosphere is fun and funky! The service was happy and friendly. The desserts are ridiculously good if you like milk shakes. You need the code for the bathroom. Clean bathrooms.
Absolutely DELICIOUS! Super creamy! All home made natural ingredients! Amazing flavors! We had Salted Chocolate Almond & Mint Oreo! Just made fresh While we were there. Also tasted One flavor made with local honey called, All Bees and another one called Passion Fruit. So fresh and delicious. Super friendly staff and got to meet the ARTIST there creates the amazing flavors!
The ice cream was delicious and the service was great! We recommend this place to eat your ice cream! There's also all kinds of ice creams, including espresso ice cream!
All the ice creams even if you don't normally like a flavor are just amazing. Owner is really cool and has cone up with some great creations.
I don't know about you, but I do find it difficult to remember to take photos of my food before I start diving into it, particularly when it looks as yummy as the sweets did at Black Rock Dessert. Thankfully for me this dairy-laden Haven did have a vegan ice cream option for me and they also have vegan cupcakes. They have a nice staff and very creative flavors of ice cream. The space efficiently houses quite a few seats and on a Friday evening they had quite a bit of business.
The wife n I decided 2 git'a banana split after din-din t'night, thus place looked good so we ck'd it out, the staff were nothin' short of Aw'sum'ness!!! Very helpful n pleasant, place was clean n the banana split was easily the best I've ever had hands down, we're definitely hit'n this again n the future ???
A wide variety of menu offerings and delicious homemade ice cream. They even have (really tasty) dairy free options. I loved the almond joy ice cream! The apple pie and brownie cheesecake were amazing too!
Great little place. Great ice cream. Even greater customer service. The 2 employees who helped us were so awesome, helpful, and friendly. I came with my wife and kids. I didn’t order anything as I really just wanted them to be able to have a nice dessert. However, the young man who helped us actually came running after us after we left and brought me something he made based on what flavors I told him I like, out to our car as we were leaving. I’ve never had something like that happen, but it shows how much this place enjoys what they do and appreciates their customers. We will definitely be back and I’d recommend this place to anyone wanting some good ice cream.
Staff was very helpful, kind and shared that they get everything they can locally. She let us try multiple ice cream flavors. They were all amazing!
Came by craving ice cream desserts, we tried the cherry cheesecake, cereal milk, Malty chocolate, Reno 911(coffee and donuts) and passion something with goat cheese.I got 3 flavors in a split, kids got one in a confetti cone, and sugar cone.I love the way the desserts look, but I was expecting the ice cream to be more thicker and creamier. The texture was very much like a icy cream texture, it melted really fast. And its cold right now 50°. I prefer a chewy thick creamy ice cream. That's why I give it a 3 star rating. I was looking for the cream, but instead got an icy texture.The unique flavors are definitely interesting and fun.The confetti cone was thick and we enjoyed the texture. But it was rolled up to cover the bottom part of the cone so my daughter struggled eating it as it dripped down.Banana split wasn't what i was expecting, the chocolate sauce solidified the chocolate so the chocolate became crunchy solid pieces. I personally do not like chocolate like that, I thought it was going to be a chocolate sauce. First time having a split with this texture of chocolate topping. They also pour the pineapple, strawberry sauce all over the split, I'm used to places putting a sauce on each scoop. So once I took a bite, I didn't like the sauce toppings. They were runny and not thick. Because of this, plus the icy ice cream melting fast, I was left with a pool of liquid at the bottom of the bowl. I wouldn't order this again.If I were to come back it would just be to try out individual cones only and no topping. I like their variety of unique flavors.
