I want to rate this place a five just for the food. It is since of the most authentic and delicious Indian food I've ever had.The service is incredibly slow. Every time I've been there the team spends so much time in the back that I can never catch someone for service outside of: get seated and drink order, drink delivery, take food order, food delivery, get check. The food is good enough that up still go back though.Their printed menu prices are about 50% low. They have a small tag at the top of the menu saying that the actual prices are different, but it's easy to miss... And I did miss it today too my shock.Today I ordered what I thought was going to be $33 of food with my family and the actual price was over $50.I'm not saying the prices are too high. I'm saying we had no way of knowing how much things are. It would not cost much to print a small batch of new menus with current prices.I did just check and found that they have their current prices on their website. Use this to decide what to get and avoid shock. If all this is something you can accept then enjoy the awesome food... Cause it is awesome.
This was hands down the best Indian food I ever had in a while. We ate buffet on a Sunday and it was well worth it. All items were fresh and tasty. Telugu people would love it, all perfect spices!!!If you are in Reno and looking for Indian Food, this is your spot! Customer service was excellent, especially the owner Srinivas and his family members was very friendly and courteous. Thank you very much for great food and customer service!!!
The owner chef cooks with a passion. This is the best Indian food in the area, and our favorite regardless of the location. Coming from NYC Metro area we’re aware of fine Indian cuisine and Bawarchi is the best in home style/gourmet Indian we’ve had in years! Try their buffet on Saturday and Sunday…the dishes are spectacular.
3rd time we've dealt with this restaurant. 1st time dine-in with large group. One person didn't even get their order. After everyone else was finished they brought out that person's dinner (took home to eat) and there was no apology or offer to get it free. 2nd time ordered for pick up, waited half hour after it was supposed to be ready. 3rd time today, ordered online to be picked up at certain time. An hour later the person picking up is STILL waiting!!!!Will NEVER give this place our business again. Do not want to give our patronage and spend our money on an establishment that doesn't value their customers ...

My boyfriend and I came here with my parents and we had a fantastic family meal. Everything was fresh, and very flavorful. This is an excellent place if you are vegetarian ?. We ordered two appetizers, 3 curries, and a biryani all veg and truly lovely. The service was also excellent. Best Indian food in town ?
Bawarchi has the best tasting Indian food in town! I consistently "grade" each meal we try, and 9/10 of them are A or B+ dishes. I try to pick something new each time but inevitably end up ordering the shrimp biryani almost every time! Their Naan is fresh and tasty too! We usually do pick up but either way, they are friendly and fast!
We are new to Indian cuisine. Have been to two local restaurants. This place is definitely a new favorite. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fabulous! We'll be back for sure. Love that it is in South Reno which definitely works well for us.
we waited for 60mins.. yes, no joke exact 60mins..Check the pics it’s kadhai paneer, kadhai chicken, ullavacharu biryani and chicken 65We didnot like the taste!!
Food is fabulous! The recommendations were definitely worth it! First time having Biryani, now a must going forward.Plus the owner/host/server?? Is SUPER sweet and so easy to get along with.Great experience, husband and I are absolutely coming back.
