Had a great time at Alturas bar! Bartenders were friendly and accommodating. It was an all around very nice experience. I would definitely recommend this place as a fun place to go back to hang out and have a good time, especially if there was live music to enjoy! They get my thumbs up, as a comfortable place to go for a drink and a good time!

great dive bar and the cellar is a good music venue, come with an open mind, and you'll have fun, no expectations, no disappointments, with much of 4th St. turning into wannabe yuppie yeasty brew places, it's great that Alturas hasn't succumbed to the hipsters !

It was okay for a24 hr place but has terrible service. Bartenders are rude. If that's what your like you might be into it. I've been here a bunch and seems like they don't have a good clientele base. Lots of times there's only 1 or two people there.
