First time at 101 Taiwanese. What made me to try their fare was a several months long craving for braised and crispy styles of Pork Belly.YouTube algorithm was continually serving me various channels that had Pork Belly as the protein of choice and focus.Google suggested that I try 101 to satisfy the ever increasing craving.101 didn't disappoint. The braised Pork Belly was more than I had imagined of how it would taste. It was soft and tender, yet not greasy. The flesh had a slight crunch while the fat was flavorful with the natural flavors of the Pork coming through. The braised pig feet was savory and full of flavor with its soft skin and collagen. The soy sauce and light seasoning added a savory boost to the meat. The Pork Belly sandwich ? bun was airy and light. It provided the perfect envelope to fill the meat and toppings into.Definitely recommend 101 Taiwanese to those who wish to take a slightly different experience in enjoying tradional Taiwanese cuisine.

Delicious food and friendly service. I will go again.

Love this place!! The serve speed was super fast, I got my food 10 minutes after I placed my order. Food qualify was great. I normally asked for low sodium and less oily for food when eating out and they did listen. Recommend.

I try to come here every time I'm in Reno. Possibly my favorite Asian restaurant on the west side of the county. Braised beef noodle soup is excellent, as are the scallion pancake rolls. Have never been disappointed.

Ordered Kung Pao chicken. It was very well cooked and delicious.

The place are very busy, meaning people love the food & service and I'm one of them who experienced good food, fast service.. There is one guy who helped us (3people) seated quick and serve food fast...

We are traveling for ski trip here. Came twice to this restaurant within a week. Food here is so authentic and satisfying. The beef noodle soup is the best I had for many years. The beef roll, green bean with minced pork are so delicious. We may try to have it again before we go home. The owners (the mother and the son) are so sweet and kind as well.

After a long day skiing on 12/31/2021, my kids were tired of Casino’s food and they wanted to try Taiwanese food while we’re in Reno for skiing, they found this 101 Taiwanese restaurant a few blocks from Eldorado. It’s quite a walk in the winter cold, but we got there and had a nice change of taste. The restaurant doesn’t have many parking spaces since it shares with a few restaurants, one way in/out.The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. The kids liked the spicy dumplings (wontons?) although to me were over steamed (cooked), the sauce was excellent, they left the broken wraps for me to try.I ordered the beef stewed noodles and it was good, although it didn’t have much fatty brisket or tendon like other Taiwanese restaurants in CA, the soup and noodles were tasty. My son and daughter liked the wonton and egg dropped noodles, they ate all with lots of chili oil. My son also liked the pork bun which looked quite delicious. As any other kids, they must have boba milk tea of some kinds and they also liked them. They said they will prefer coming here again when we go skiing in march. For me, the price is right, the food is good and the service is very attentive, it’s a thumb up.

Food is delicious and taste rather authentic compared to usual Chinese American fares. Braised pork belly and pop corn chicken were standouts, and mungbean milkshake was interesting and nice.
