We've been going here for several years now and have always loved it. Went this past Sunday and had the worst experience ever. Obviously under new management that has no clue how to run a decent restaurant. The sushi was sub par and their sushi rice was awful. I always got the bento box, but they no longer have it. I ended up getting the Korean BBQ beef bowl. The meat was terrible and the rice was worse. Will never be going back there and I suggest that everyone steers clear of this place.
Not worth the $30 per person food. Tiny little hole in the wall place. The seating area was clean and neat. We were greeted right away and seated. No water was served. Had to ask. No small dishes to combine soy sauce and wasabi. Had to ask three times for this. When the salmon nigiri was served, I noticed the salmon smelled fishy. Fresh fish and fish smell don't go together. The sushi rice was loose and should have been pressed more tightly. The pieces fell apart. I overheard the sushi chef telling other customers that they had just opened the week before. The two of us had 3 rolls, 2 nigiri and one tempura appetizer. This is not worth a $70 bill! Wow! Certainly the right word for this restaurant, and not in a good way.
My family and I have been going here for sushi for several years. In the last couple months we've had such bad experiences. They're always "short-staffed". We've came in when there's been only ONE family inside and we were told to come back in 45 minutes. Just multiple times we've been turned aways for 45 mins to an hour, we don't come back and end up eating something else. Good food, such bad service.
Affordable, delicious sushi and was packaged very neatly. Staff were super friendly and the establishment itself on the inside was really cool. Will definitely come again.
Use to be good as many have wrote new owner and management changed. The price went up however the quality went down. All the rolls consist of california rolls with sup par fish for the all you can eat. I don't recommend going the place was not worth it at all.
If i could give this place no stars I would. Went in and by first looks it was small and dirty left over cups and plates on the table. Then sat at bar and the fish at the sushi bar looked not at all fresh. Before even placing any orders server had a huge attitude. Might as well spend your money at panda right next door. Then the server the told us that they are not doing any bento boxes when they were listed on menu. I ask him again and he says that i can order teriyaki chicken just this once. I went to get all you can eat and was told i was unable to get half rolls until I put in my last order. Then my boyfriend was not going to eat because he was told they don’t have bento boxes and was told to leave. The server then says “Good leave” and starts to get in his face. Grabs him by the shoulder and almost lifts him off his feet pushing him to get out. We then start to leave and he follows us out. very unprofessional DO NOT COME HERE TO EAT.
This was always are go to but not anymore. I always ordered the cucumber salad and the jalapeno popper roll, they were nothing like they have been in the past totally different. What happened? So disappointed...
New owner is rude and unwelcoming. All Day Happy Hour is gone. Got two rolls then found out after.... Could of got AYCE. This place has gone down hill. Expensive, poor quality, bad service. Bring back the old owners......
We have been eating there for about 8 years. It was our favorite place for sushi. In the last few of months a new manager has come in. We stayed and ate twice regardless of his crass attitude. But after attempting to eat today and being told he’s short staffed and we should wait outside until more people come to work instead of letting us just wait at a table was his third strike. He was rude and uncaring. We took our business and our hard earned money somewhere else. We will not be going back. He’s ruining a once great sushi restaurant.
We used to go here all the time. It has been some time so my husband and I decided to go. We ordered our usual and something was just off. The manager was also our server she was rude and uptight. One of the sushi plates my husband would always get came out completely different than even the menu says. We were told that because there is a new owner and they don’t do it that way . It was a Salmon Tempura there was no crunch or tempura it was cold and not at all the way it was supposed to be. Of course we were argued with so we payed and left. We won’t be back service and quality of food is gone. WOW factor is gone! Not even worth taking pictures.
