We used to love going to Canes. But we have been super disappointed in this location lately. The wait is long. Our online orders for curbside pickup have ended up with us waiting about 45 minutes because they "haven't made our order." No apology, no offer to make it right. In fact, my husband was treated very rudely the last time he was in there. While the food is always great, we're really having a hard time going back because of the customer service.
Edit2.0The portion sizes are messed up now. I dunno who runs this place no but everything got smaller. Portion sizes of fries and the chicken are smaller. And more expensive. I thought maybe it's all Canes and went to the one on Decatur, nope it was big juicy and tons of fries.Disappointed Go up the street to Chick fila even though I am not crazy about them, they don't jip youStaff is always friendly.
9+ for a chicken sandwich after taxes lmaoo! They gave me like 5 fries too. I understand Inflation but this is just greedyness!!! The meal cost probably $1 dollar to make so you basically get a 8 dollar upcharge.
I eat here a lot and over the past month I have noticed their chicken fingers go from normal Cane's size to McDonalds chicken nugget size. Do you think we do not notice when you are cutting the fingers in half? The 6 finger meal is not the size of a 3 finger meal. Cane's is not the only chicken place in town its also not the least expensive. Every pizza place has chicken fingers for the same price only theirs are not pencil thin. Posted a picture next to my French Fries so you can see their are the same size. Ridiculous
Great customer service and usually great food, but the last meal I ate on 4/19/22 gave me food poisoning. It was my last meal of that day at around 1:30pm. Nauseous at 7am the next day and vomiting at 8am. Probably won't be back.
Really clean and the staff was very polite and friendly. I wish I could have enjoyed the coleslaw (it's always dry as a bone). And I wish they would make the fries crispy like I asked. But the chicken didn't disappoint and I'll be back for more!
The chicken was nice , crispy and hot tonight! I loved it a lot, and the bread and fries were marvelous too! Raising Cane's is my favorite fried chicken place, for it is sooo good! The sweet tea is always on point. Perfect!
I live in St. Louis but I’ve eaten at this raising canes half a dozen times and every time has been great. Honestly it’s my favorite fast food chicken place. Canes sauce is da bomb! Give it a try if you haven’t!
I give 1 star for their great service and attitude. Very friendly and quick with the order. That being said, the food gets zero. The chicken sandwich combo I ordered was completely flavorless, even with their sauce. There is no "spicy" option and the offer of hot sauce (NOT Frank's, which would go a long way towards helping) was insufficient to say the least. There is no pickle. The fries were flavorless crinkle cut and Cole slaw side was... flavorless. This is definitely NO substitute for Popeye's, sorry. Not even in the same universe.
Drive thru was outrageously long. Went in for carry out and had terrific service. Food was ready to go within 10 minutes, crew was fast and courteous, food was hot and good. They use styrofoam clamshells so it's a good thing we ate in the restaurant. Restroom and dining area was clean. Upbeat environment. Will visit again
