The Kailua Pork I ordered was extra- super dry and very stringy. Must be leftovers from yesterday that was thawed out for recycling. You can’t even taste a drop of liquid smoke on it. Nothing Hawaiian about it at all.You can taste the flour on the macaroni salad since the noodles weren’t thoroughly washed. It was just slapped with mayo and then mixed together. To make things worse, the Uber Eats driver rang the doorbell multiple times and dropped my food order on our doormat spilling all the soup in the bag. Only once is enough. How uncaring and unprofessional can it get! Don’t hire gangsters next time.

The food is amazing, the staff is friendly, the restaurant is always clean. 5 stars here! No complaints, just great food!!Thank you L& L Hawaiian BBQ. You guys are the Best!

Love Hawaiian food! L&L is my favorite favorite place on 9th Island.

Spam musubi has no love at all. Loosely wrapped and no flavor at all. Mac salad tasted good but was just pasta and Mayo where are the veggies? The guy at front kept trying to get me to buy three musibis for $8 when all I wanted was one and some Mac salad. I didn’t dare get a plate none of it looked good and I know they aren’t good because I’ve had the plates there before but I decided to give it another chance tho. We need an Aloha kitchen in Aliante!! ????

This review is coming in a bit late, but I wanted to share my experience due to the unprofessionalism I experienced. Came in and no one was up front. I looked behind the counter and seen the cook eating with his bare hands from the tray of food that is used for customers and when he saw me he threw the half eaten chicken katsu back into the tray. I asked him if eating with his bare hands out of the heating tray was something he normally did and he just replied yes. I had recorded him eating out of the tray to post, but I couldn’t post the video here. This was during Covid and he had no gloves. For some reason after seeing this I still ordered thinking I can just order something else and he disappeared with my food around the corner and I didn’t see what he was doing soo I just threw the food away. This place deserves to be shut down for the food safety practices. The chicken looked like it was made hours before and just kept in a hot plate.

Not at all what I expected. The musubi has no love. Just a warm piece of spam slapped on a bunch of rice with a drizzle of sauce. Normally it's cooked in the sauce, not here.Got the wontons, more like wonton flavored salt. So salty, I feel like it years from my life. Then their famous bbq combination plate. I'm sure this would be good. Looks are deceiving in this place. Tasted weird and nasty. Tasted like gamy beef. Never had it like this. Def not worth it.The 1/2 lb poke was decent but $15 for a handful of poke, not again. The only decent item we got were the donuts and the poke. We'll and the chicken katsu was decent, hard but decent.Don't come here unless you come with no expectations of good food.

I had a BBQ mix plate. I was wondering why it so long took for my order because i was the only one there. The cook played on his phone. I guess he forgot about the food than beef was like chewing gum and i had to throw it away. The chicken was ok. So i paid almost $11 for one small slice of chicken, rice and a small cup mac salad. No thank you

Served me uncooked chicken gave me food poisoning so I no longer eat here and wouldn’t sell me a can of pop unless I paid cash would not accept my debit then said just to add a $1.51 tip on my receipt horrible location

high prices small portions compared to other lnls around town and honestly the food was pretty bland. Not coming back thats forsure. oh and as for service there wasent any customer service employee was not there to work with a good attitude prepare to be disappointed.

The food was fall apart and I always eat her and never had a problem until now I went in to ask why it was like this and they had nothing to say for themselves
