I don’t even know where to start. The establishment itself on the inside gives comfort, I honestly can’t wait to go dine in. It reminds me Of this place in my hometown that I’ve grown up going to that I even worked at and the owners are like family. So now living out here even tho my sister says I’ve been here before, this will be my go to. This was exactly what I needed. And Ms. Ro Ro Rosio whatever it is you wanna call her I call her DA BOMB I love how inviting she is and she just made me comfortable and she so beautiful, this was a great way to end my Saturday. I’m full And satisfied.

Good food and service. It came out quick as well. Oxtail was fire, good portion sizes. The stay open later than others too.
I HATE writing this because in all honesty, the food was really good to me and my family. We have eaten here several times, but I'm afraid this will be my last. I ordered a catfish dinner with Mac N Cheese, Yams and Black Eyed Peas. I took one bite of the peas and I bit into something tiny and hard, I thought it might be a piece of bone and I spit it out (Sometimes, ppl flavor their beans with meat) on the next scoop of peas, this long piece of wood came out. It made me think, what is going on in the kitchen and I was disgusted and unable to finish my food.
Went here with my mother while we were in Vegas for her birthday. She had been looking for a soul food restaurant to eat while we would be in Vegas during our trip. The first place went to was unorganized, so we made our way to EllaEm's. She ordered the oxtails, black-eyed peas, cabbage and greens, with of course Kool-Aid. I had the pork chops, one fried and one grilled, black-eyed peas, yams, and cabbage and greens and Kool-Aid. My mom loved the oxtails as well as her sides. My pork chops especially the fried one was overcooked. Everything else was spot on. With that said we went back for a second time during our trip, and we both had the oxtails, and I would agree with my mother are really good.
If you are looking for some delicious Soul food, then this is the place! Plate are filled with large portions. Everything from the chicken, down to the corn bread is phenomenal. Also, the service provided by Alan and Rocio is on point. Definitely a place to check out!
This food was absolutely amazing! Everything was delicious! Thank you Rosio so much for your hospitality and EXCEPTIONAL service! You made my family feel so appreciated!
This was great! Snapper, mac n cheese, collards, red beans and rice.So good! This was lunch before the Raiders vs Chargers game.
We went in to eat. The friendliest people in Vegas! The best soul food ever. And the kool-aid took me down memory lane. Add the good Ol sweet potatoe pie. A great recipe for a nap or early bed time for sure. It’s that good!!!
