Absolutely an experience to remember. The ambience, customer service, food, music and the view of the Dragon was amazing. Highly recommended. Thank you Herman for making our first time at the restaurant so welcoming. We ate all of your recommendations. Beautiful all around!!!!!!!!!
First Chinese restaurant in North America to have a micheline star, five star award Forbes and an impeccable service, cuisine and decoration. Their Imperial Peckin Duck is just extraordinary, and in every single one of their dishes you could feel an explosion of Cantonese, Shanghai & Szechuan flavors.
In my personal opinion, from this one experience, I would not consider this worthy of a Michelin star. We did the Peking duck tasting menu, and unfortunately each course was heavy on heavy on heavy—with large portions, to boot. After the second course, I had to ask for the rest of my courses to be packaged to go, which I have never had to do at a tasting menu (I was pretty embarrassed). Overall, we felt that the dishes were unbalanced. Even the dessert was a mousse with maraschino cherry and white chocolate. The dessert was beautiful, but after all the duck fat and truffle oil, a lighter fruit dessert would’ve been a welcome reprieve. In the end, it tasted like some of the best Chinese takeout we’ve ever had. But at $340 for two people? Nah.All that said, the decor was fun and the front of house staff was 10/10. They were attentive from before we even walked through the door (they saw us approaching and opened the doors for us), and they read our cues at the table perfectly, knowing exactly when to approach the table without hovering or feeling overbearing. The waitstaff was the most positive part of the experience, and they deserve the utmost praise. Far better than at some NYC Michelin restaurants with much higher price tags. Don’t know if this is customary, but I did appreciate that they included pineapple cake in our takeout bags (which was very good but, again, dense and heavy!).P.S. I also liked that my purse got its own chair. Nice touch, folks.
This was an absolutely amazing experience, highly recommended! The food is excellent and the service is even better!
I had the Peking duck tasting menu. It was delicious and offered so much variety and different approaches to Peking duck. The service was amazing and it’s quite reasonably priced for the quality.
The best restaurant we have ever been to in Vegas. The Garden Dim Sum with the housemade chili sauce is a must try! This chef is a true artist and the wait staff were fantastic. Thank you so much for the great experience. Definitely coming back and it will be a priority to visit Wing Lei again.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan options available! The Garden Dim Sum is not on the vegan section but it's vegan and was the best part of our dinner
Incredible
We have enjoyed several dinners here over the years and last evening's food/service only gets better each time. Do take time to try several appetizers - they are all delicious (garden dim sum) and will prepare your of the courses to follow. It is a beautiful environment and the staff is extremely careful and caring. Do plan ahead with reservations. And do plan to receive a great evening event. We continue to highly recommend Wing Lei.
First time visit. I hope to come back here again. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and professional. The decor and aura of this restaurant is very unique and calming. The food is so fresh and tastes absolutely delicious. I enjoyed my first time visit.
We did the Imperial duck tasting. It started with a small watermelon cube and sweet cold tea shot. The opening duck wraps were a bit lack luster, however the rest of the meal was wonderful. The salad was flavorful and bright. The duck dumplings texture was amazing. The rice and duck eggplant was very original and also tasty. The desert sent the meal over the top with a candy cherry filled with mousse and dark cherries. The service could not be better. We will be back
