Great ambiance..great service ..good food..would be nice to have complementary bread though
Great service !! Great food!! Loved every second !!
we asked for a window seat , great view ! had a great experience
The steak I had this time was okay. I have had much better steaks a Voodoo Lounge and have paid less for them. I had the Filet and it was cooked medium as I ordered but it was a dry steak. Defiantly not worth the 65 dollars I was charged. First time I have been disappointed with the food at Voodoo Lounge. I like taking my wife to Voodoo Lounge on her birthday or anniversary. This time it was our 33 wedding anniversary and what I think was the most important part of the meal (steak) was below Voodoo Lounge standards. I would still recommend Voodoo Lounge to others. You can do better
It took a long time to get our food, bread was not included with the meal (it was a separate charge, but we did not see it listed as such on the menu - we may have just missed it), food was not hot enough, so not as enjoyable as it should have been.
The food was amazing and the wait staff was awesome. Very accommodating for our picky twin 8 year olds. Definitely would recommend.
We are regulars here, at least once a month. We LOVE the food and service here. Billy is one of the best servers in town. You should request him. The seafood and steak here are just magical. I always get the shrimp cocktail, but their lobster bisque is delicious too. All the appetizers are very good, as are the salads. I prefer the Wagyu ribeye. That's my usual go-to. Last night I had the 14-once Prime Flat Iron steak for the 2nd time. It's absolutely delicious! I would recommend ordering both of these steaks at least medium so the fat has time to render. I eat a filet or strip medium rare, but both the Wagyu ribeye and flat iron benefit from a cook that's just a bit longer. They are SO buttery at medium. The lobster tail or king crab are nice add-ons for your entrée. My wife had the scallops for the first time last night and she just loved them. Everything here is good. It's usually pretty quiet, the views are the best in town and the service is impeccable.
We had reservations at 5 pm. At 5:05, we were standing outside closed doors, which are usually open. Past those doors usually is reception which leads you to the elevator up to the top floor of the hotel where the restaurant is. I tried opening the door, and it did open. The lights were off. There was a pool of water on the floor. There was a ladder blocking the inside doors before you get to the elevator. I and another person went to find help. We found the casino food and beverage manager, who assured us it was open. We asked her to show us, and she did. She saw all of the above, and she was not happy and was very apologetic. She got us through to the elevator, where we went up, and the manager apologized, said he was new, they were only open a couple of nights a week. I asked about the Voodoo nightclub and was told it never reopened after Covid. We got a nice table with a great view. The place was empty except for us and maybe 3 other tables - on a Friday night. The food was decent but not exceptional by Vegas standards. The waitress was nice, especially after accidentally pouring a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon on me. It was really kind of sad - the Rio used to be the place to be, and the Voodoo Steakhouse was the place to be at the Rio. Won't go back. Too much trouble for not a good time. I appreciate that the manager is new, but I have run retail operations before, and making sure the front door is open and the entrance is safe (without ladders and pools of water) is kind of the basics of any retail operation. They did comp us a round of drinks, and did not charge for the Cab Sauv that I wound up wearing.
Food was ok. Did not match the cost of the food. Weâre seated facing away from the stripe at first until we asked to move. It was a weird experience. However the view at the look out was great.
The food was fantastic! The service not so much. View is great from the 50th floor. The Wagyu Ribeye was delicious and well worth the price. The truffle mac and cheese was perfect. Nothing bland about the food. The service was slow and we had to ask for things twice even though the restaurant was less than half full on a Saturday. Would recommend because the food is great but don't go if you're doing a pre-show dinner.
