I'm going with 2 stars because to be fair there's allot more on the menu that I haven't tried. But the grilled chicken was cold, the chicken katsu was dry and do NOT order the side salad. It's not salad, it's a small container of Lettuce only. Not a single vegetable other than trace amounts of shaved carrots. The fried rice was super salty but would be really good otherwise. I was strategic about using the tiny tiny amount of sauce they give you and paid allot for a warm Coke. I won't be going back to take another chance. The cashier however, was very nice and professional.

Great food. Good-sized portions. Friendly staff. You have basic Japanese staples for your protein options like chicken katsu and teriyaki chicken. There are upgrades available for $1-$5 like shrimp tempura, salmon, beef teriyaki. It’s counter service so you order and pay first, then find a table where they’ll bring you your food.

initially was a little weary of getting food from here because of couple reviews i saw. i was driving around the area, saw the sign, and decided to just give it a try. i am glad i did! i got the salmon with rice, grilled veggies, and two spring rolls. it was delectable! the sweet garlic sauce to accompany the platter is also lovely. the meal was a bit pricey at 22$, but overall great eats!

Food is delicious and cooked really well. Been to a bunch of these mid level fast-casual restaurants (ie. Makai, skinnyfats, poke poku, etc) Value for the quality of food is really great comparatively. Service was super friendly and nice. First time here and will definitely come back.I got the double protein with katsu and filet mignon, grilled rice, and grilled vegetables.

First time ordering from here, seemed simple to order right off the app and close enough to go pick up. They should have a pick up spot though instead of waiting on the same line as ordering. So I’m enjoying my salad before I have my main dish and found a ladybug in my lovely ginger salad. Poor guy, hope he likes ginger dressing…but that kind of set my mind on this place. Good proteins, great portions just not sure if I want bugs in my food…probably will not come back here

I wish I would've taken a photo of this sad excuse of a meal. I attached a copy of the receipt in hopes you can figure out who was working.I checked online to look for healthy options for dinner. I had my partner go pick it up. First thing, prices online compared to store is incorrect. I get it, inflation, covid, businesses have raised prices -- here's a friendly reminder to update your website.Next I'm gluten intolerant so I wanted all vegetables. When my partner came home with the food, his first sentence was "Volcano Grille are crooks" lol. I giggled and said why? Then I saw the container. A couple things to note:- OVERALL: food was sliding all over the little circle container. Meaning it was obvious not full by any means- SALMON: there was an up charge for the salmon, fine, that's normal. My piece of salmon was smaller than half of a dollar bill. My partner's, even smaller. At best, it's as if they split one salmon up for two meals- VEGETABLES: that's the only other item in the container. Grilled vegetables. Maybe 3/4 of a cupAnyway. $43 for something that should've costed $20 at max. Super disappointing and will never go back. Really curious how all the pictures online are so much better than the reality I had.

Getting the plates with 2 proteins is already a LOT for one person, and the chicken katsu and beef was very good. I like how they have a variety of sauces to choose from, too! The grilled rice was okay- not bad. Although the food was served to us straight from the kitchen, it did not seem hot. The spring rolls also needed to be deep fried more -it seemed soggy and tasteless. The veggies were good. The prices are definitely much higher now than before but the quality could have been better, too. I expected a lot and I did get good food; however, I can get better food for the same price or cheaper somewhere else.

Tried this place based off how great the pics looked on Uber Eats one day at work. It is outstanding. The beef chicken and shrimp are amazing. Have gone back a couple times since and it is now a big hit in my workplace. There is a really nice woman that runs the place and the product is quality, service is good too. Highly recommend. It's like next level hawaiian bbq

I ate here again today and was told they would remake my food when I got there because I was late getting out of the hospital. They told me on the phone they would remake it but they did not. The worker told me they received my order at 2:29pm when I picked it up at 3:15, however this was a lie because I was notified the order was ready to be picked up at 2:29 already. She told me order was only sitting there for 10-15 minutes because it just finished, but I called them at 2:25 to tell them I would be late and the worker told me it was ready, but she would remake it. So the other worker lied to my face and gave me the order that had been sitting there for almost an hour.

I loved eating here pre-pandemic. Food was always fresh and portions were healthy. It hasn’t been as good lately but I assume it’s things out of the restaurants control like staffing. I will continue to support in the hopes that it will improve. Usually, it’s good.
