We have been to Ellis island several times for there prime rib. There was a 40 minute wait tonight so decided to go to the one on eastern and wigwam. Ordered 2 prime rib dinners medium rare. I could tell when they came out by the color brown they were not medium rare.Asked for the manager which I believe was Erica. She claimed there were no more medium rare cuts . I asked why wouldn’t you tell me that when I ordered? Then she said that the cook and herself thought it was medium rare. She seemed annoyed and ask what I wanted and offered me a discount. I didn’t have time to wait for something else so I said fine. When the bill came it was a $10 discount. Are you kidding me ? Don’t waste you time at this place.

This was my first time at any Village Pub. Met up with some people from work, so while waiting for a large enough table, we parked it at the bar. The atmosphere is relaxing, there is an older crowd if you know what I mean and families. If you like your drinks strong, I don't think you'll find it here. Didn't really see top shelf while sitting there. Ordered a margarita that tasted like a splash of tequila and some sweet & sour but nothing to rave about. Now the reason for 4 stars, the food! The dishes came out with a nice presentation, plates and bowls for the atmosphere didn't mesh but I'm more concerned with what's on the dishes themselves. Me and one of my coworkers decided to share so we got appetizers. Potato skins, quesadillas and chicken wings. All of them were delicious, cooked perfectly. Our server wasn't all there as we had to ask for things more than twice. But that was just one. Other servers we flagged down were attentive and quick. All in all, I think I would definitely bring my fam here to try again.

The food is great, however the service isn’t spectacular. We had to wait 50 minutes to be seated and then an additional 30 to even get our order taken. People are friendly and the food is awesome but expect a significant wait time.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was was amazing! The food was hot, the waiters were friendly, our drinks were never low and were always one step ahead of what we needed, that's why it's my go to place 2 place always!

Always a great place to eat

My son took me here to watch the play-off game. He recommended the Fish & Chips. I made the mistake of ordering potato skins as an appetizer. The potato were good but filling. By the time my lunch arrived, I was way too full and only ate 1 of 3 pieces. It was very crispy and tasty. The moral of this story is if you're going to order the Fish & Chips, don't order anything else.

After having several bad experiences with the service at the other south eastern location, my wife and I decided to drive a bit further and try this location because we love their breakfast! Tracey was absolutely amazing. She was super attentive and gave us such great service. We are happy to find a village pub with such excellent customer service!

Everything here is good with one exception. The chicken fried steak! It is made out of PORK!I bring my out of town guest here and always warn them about CFS, but occasionally someone will ignore our warnings and they are ALWAYS disappointed. Please consider changing to beef.

This is our fall-back place. Went for Thanksgiving lunch when first choice failed. They had traditional fixings: turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. All were great. Reasonable price. Servers were efficient but over worked. Men's restroom was out of paper towels. I told staff, they said they would take care of it right away. I didn't check later. I am sure we will go back.

Everybody knows this is the best Village Pub in town. They treat you like family here and the food is always prepared quickly and correctly. We've been regulars here for more than a decade and will continue coming for at least another 10 years.
