Very nice restaurant with excellent fish and chips. The server was wonderful. It was a little hard to find. I do wish they had a view of the lake from the restaurant, because they are right there, but sadly you can't see outside at all.
Katrina was the worst waitress we have had at the village pub. Very bad service. You asked for something good luck getting it. We like village pub, but won't sit at her station. She will give village pub bad reviews for sure.
There is a reason this place has a loyal following. If you want high quality home cooked "diner" food this is the place. Chicken fried chicken. The ribs have a reputation although we haven't tried them. Very local feeling. **You have to order in house for go orders, cannot call in.
The Waiting was too long for getting a table. The server never asked us how did we like our meal if anything was wrong. Other than that the food is always fantastic but this was the first time I came to this location. I usually go to the one on Rainbow avenue which is always very good very good service also
Love the chicken with portabello mushrooms! If you like root beer check out their own brew!
Love the food!! The clam chowder is delicious!! The steak and egg special is filling and cheap!! I would definitely suggest that breakfast.

Great food. Great service. Emotional support dogs welcome and excellant staff. Poker machines at bar. Smoking allowed at bar. Very comfortable and the staff makes you feel welcome. My little Maltese and I have been there multiple times to relax and enjoy.
