This is less of a review of the establishment and more about the products. The place itself is pretty dang small and isn't much to speak about. However, I stumbled upon this tiny shop after dining at Aloha Specialties. I got the Strawberry Banana Gummy Bears and they were easily the best Gummy bears I'd ever had. I'm just kicking myself for not picking another one of their dozens of flavors. Oh well, gives me something to look forward to next time!

This is a convenience store specializing in Hawaiian kine and unique Chinese & Japanese treats. Vegas 808 has a long history in Las Vegas, 46 years in fact, according to the store owner, Tiger! I found a true gem thanks to other friend's recommendations, and I am so looking forward to tear into my haul of snacks, including jerkys, matcha green tea almonds and butter toffee nuts. It's at the top of the escalator in the Hotel California in Old Vegas (Fremont), a local Hawaiian favorite spot!

Rude customer service! I called to ask about lemon peel because I’ve been looking for some all day. I asked him how big the bag was and he “huffed” on the phone like he didn’t wanna get up to look. Than I asked how much it was and he said they don’t give out prices over the phone. Coming from a girl who is from Hawaii, I will NEVER shop there ever again! If I could’ve gave no stars that would be the case!!

This a pretty cool store in the California hotel. If you are looking for the playing card cookies, they have them here!! Thankfully I was able to find them and bring some back home to share. It was a tiny store but they did have some interesting 808 jerky flavors. I haven't tried any yet but they look delicious. Overall cute store!
