I went for the tasting collective. Wow, hands down one of my top 4 tapas place. The staff were so, nice. Chef was for informative. My favorite dish was the Canalons a la Barcelona. Have not had great liver pate dish since my mom died in 1998. Definitely recommend this place would eat here again. Service 5/5. Food 5/5. Atmosphere 5/5. Customer service 5/5. Yep, having my birthday dinner here.
Really unique creative atmosphere and menu. Very artsy feel to the décor and the food. They are known for their paella which takes 45 minutes to make in the traditional wood fired oven. Several different varieties can be ordered in large and small and vary in price from $24 up to $80. We ordered the traditional mariscos paella a pitcher of sangria and bunch of tapas to start. Topped off the meal with goat cheesecake with cherries. Everything was creatively prepared and delicious. The service staff was friendly and very personally attentive. I would definitely come back to this place and highly recommend it to anybody that wants something a little bit different and really fun.
This place is a must visit if you like tapas and drinks. We visited for the paella (takes about 40 min to make) and enjoyed a few tapas while we waited. The decor inside was very artsy. Because the weather was great, we decided to sit outside at the patio. Ordered the chicken/seafood paella, and enjoyed the steak, chicken wings, fries, and charcuterie while we were waiting. Erin was our waitress and she was amazing. They had a beer mishap and the bartender felt bad, so he made me a special one when he didn't have to. The paella was ok, but I will definitely be back. The tapas and drinks were amazing. Thank you guys!!!
Though we enjoyed our meal on one level, on another it proved to be the biggest dining disappointment of our 14 day Las Vegas vacation. Were our expectations too high or was it just a bad night? My wife and I started off by sharing orders of dates with bacon mermelada (jam) and blue cheese plus an el greco salad featuring chopped greens, tomato, olives, onion, sheeps milk feta and shrimp that were quite good though the latter was initially served without shrimp This oversight was soon rectified when a staff member brought us 4 shrimp on a separate plate. Our entree was paella de mariscos (seafood) was good with the desired socarrat (crispy rice), but unfortunately some of it had migrated from crispy to burnt detracting from the overall flavor. Had it not been a 40 minute wait for another order we would have sent it back. The meal concluded with a slice of goats milk Basque cheesecake topped with amarena cherries that proved to be too dry with minimal taste of goat cheese.
Tapas were good but Paella was a big disappointment. The rice was alright could use more color, the mussels were overcooked and dried out, and barely any shrimp or squid. I've had way better paella at home. Just expected more from a restaurant with Best Of Las Vegas Award
Incredible paella & tapas at a great price. Chef/owner trained under the masters in Spain, and literally wrote one of the top books on charcuterie. 3x bang for the buck vs. top restaurants on the strip.
One of the best hidden gems in town! Come for the paella, stay for the flamethrower! Every single dish was phenomenal and the paella was well worth the wait. Servers were exceptional and took great care of us. Highly recommend the Spanish Penicillin and leaving room for the cheesecake. I've had dreams about this place and can't wait to go back.
Amazing experience all around. Service from Lizz was outstanding. We really enjoyed all of their cocktails, which included a lot of in-house ingredients (I.e. their 12mo aged Cachaça). The food exceeded high expectations. Chef did an awesome job of putting delicious and unique twists on Spanish dishes while still keeping them recognizable. Super happy with everything.
I was introduced to VG on 12/31/21. My wife asked me to try something different for the New Year. Most of us guys when it comes to food and a romantic dining experience at this time of year would prefer the familiar. What we received was beyond the familiar. The smiles , the drinks , the service and the food overall was the best dining experience in the Las Vegas area we have had in years. Thanks to everyone at VG for making the start of 2022 a special year! I look forward to referring all my friends and relatives to you. The good and bad news about referrals is we might have to make reservations well in advance. A special thanks to Lizz for the refreshing drinks and special care you give to all your customers. Jeffery thank you for opening up my imagination and palettes to experience all that your restaurant offers!
An amazing restaurant, great service, fantastic food! We were there yesterday, and I thank my dear friend Lisa for highly recommending this place. Lovely interior, the beverages are unique, and the Chef has a touch of gold. Very reasonable priced. Thank you! We'll be back ! ?
