With the cover, lack of a proper arcade, and odd atmosphere, it's difficult to recommend this place. We walked in, and five minutes were out. We were hoping for more games or something, but we're highly disappointed. They have some interesting memorabilia, but that's about it.We didn't do any bowling, so I can't speak to that.
As self-proclaimed nerds, my husband, nephew, and I were not as impressed as we were expecting. Maybe it was better after dark, but we were about the only ones in there Saturday afternoon. There were some cool props here and there, but we had 1 drink and left.
Come here a little after 11pm. It was kind of dead. Not a lot of people inside the establishment. It was also a weekday. The greeter at the door was dressed in a fun outfit so it made me feel like the place was going to be a good time. There’s a lot to do in there. It could spend a good amount of time in here with a group of people. The drinks however were not amusing. Fun place to hangout but maybe not drink.
N is for never boring. E is for exceptionally unique. R is for really rad spot. D is for down to party. That's pretty much the nerd. Really weird spot and will not disappoint. If you like really high class, boring, stuffy lounges with VIP bottle service..... DO NOT COME HERE! If you like a super odd, cool place with amazing vibes, great music, cheap drinks and tons of fun stuff to do. YOU SHOULD COME HERE. Thanks to them for all they do, no trip to vegas is complete without hitting the nerd and seeing what the heck is going on inside.
We have had 2 events at the nerd bar. Both of them were SO MUCH FREAKING FUN. They have so many cool games, arcade, tabletop console, bowling, basketball and more. This place is hands down one of the weirdest and coolest places in Las Vegas. We absolutely love it and will be back for sure. The owner Johnny is amazing and he has taken the best care of us over the years. Big big thanks to him, the staff and the odd place that he cares for so deeply. This place is truly special and if you walk inside you'll see what I mean. We have been there many other times over the years and it's on the list for places to pop into when you're in las vegas. Do yourself a favor and party at the nerd.
the..... nerd.... rocks.... really amazing and special place. like filled with oddities for odd balls like us. we always have the best time here and they never disappoint. if you're bowling, down for some video games or just want an awesome unique place that IS NOT A FREAKING CASINO. this is the best place to cool your jets and hang. tons of rad stuff to look at. the staff is killer and always treats us great. lots to do in the nerd and neonopolis is definitely worth a visit. go see johnny or vanessa. tell them the muzz man sent you. also, this place makes a great place to host your party, freak show or whatever you're into.

Really interesting place to check iut. Had some time to kill and had a drink at the bar. Really like the various pop culture references and games. Not too busy. But good drinks and was able to get out of the cold for a little bit. The bowling was pretty popular.
Love coming here, good vibes and great atmosphere! Friendly staff and made many good memories. There is unfortunately a lot of things that are not maintained, but for the main things (bowling, beer pong, giant jenga, air hockey, DJ/dance floor), this bar serves it purpose and then some. To add to that, there is a ton of awesome decor and art around the bar that make this extremely unique. Will be back!
I wish I could give this place negative stars. They not only failed to disclose that they do not let those under 21 into the store on their website after I booked, but they never sent me a refund even two weeks after I canceled. After checking with them again, they were incredibly slow and I had to repeat the same information (about bookings and cancellations) multiple times in order for them to tell me they would send me a refund for my group. Even then, I still have not gotten my refund of over $100 (edit: received after several wks and much badgering)You don't even need a reservation -- this place was empty both times I physically came in person to (1) explain my situation to no avail, and (2) to get said refund but no one was there (it was open hours btw).
