I was prepared to arrive well in advance and pitch a tent if necessary, judging from the reviews of folks who wrote about the long lines for pre-order pickups around the holidays. My pickup time was for Tues December 21st at 8AM. I was walking back to my car with enormous ham (I got the quarter-- WOW!!) in tow at 8:01AM.The only confusion was that the pre-order line entrance was the "exit" door, which amusingly disoriented a couple of folks for a couple of seconds. The staff were ON IT, congenial, and holiday-happy-- it was a cheery atmosphere! And the ham.. OMG the ham...Technically, I froze it until Christmas eve, and then let it sit in the sink to thaw overnight. Had it room temperature as suggested (though hubby asked, "aren't you going to heat it up?"-- we both think ham technically SHOULD be eaten served warm) and it was... DIVINE.Several days later... I made THE MOST INCREDIBLE homemade ham sandwich I had ever eaten in my life. (make sure you use brioche... is all I gotta say). It's a good thing it's delish, because we're going to be eating it for... ever.Just kidding, I've portioned it... and the majority is back in the freezer. I told my husband, "I don't know WHY anyone would buy ham from a deli counter at a grocery... this HoneyBaked is the best deal around!"-- Tasty and the price is right!I've been telling everyone, and everyone's been telling me back, "try the turkey next time!"Definitely...... Any way you slice it, it's gonna be good (see what I did there?!?)
Got my annual BOGO sandwich for my birthday, as always tasted great. Don't fret I go monthly just for lunch.
Pretty horrible experience here with the pre ordering. You reserve way in advance only to then wait an hour at the store to actually pickup. But don’t worry, they can spare a worker to stand outside as the mask police while they pack everyone in like sardines.
They make a good sandwich. Healthy portions & multi grain bread. & Prompt & courteous. But I'm disappointed that they have no RYE Bread! & They're based out east! Not New York tho. Oh well.
Went to pick up ham ordered for Thanksgiving. Eventhough the line was long, it went pretty smoothly because they had a good system going and the ham is always a treat during the holidays for the whole family to enjoy!
Me and my wife tried it tonight 1st time we didn't see what the hype was turkey was dry so I have 4lbs of dry turkey to injoy got 3 frozen side dishes Wich weren't bad but seem way over priced I guess if u have the money to throw away it's ok but it's not for us sorry honey baked
It was a bit crowded, but I visited right before Thanksgiving. I was sad to find out that the restaurant was closed due to people picking up holiday ham today. Oh well, I guess I will have to try back at a later date.
Delicious. Customer Service was Outstanding! The Roasted Turkey was so good, my mouth still watering!
Fantastic as usual..fast ... friendly service.. Gotta Have My Honey Baked Ham
