What a fun place to spend an evening. First of all, the service was amazing, from the hostesses at the front, to our servers and the management staff. I recommend reservations for sure. That way you are guaranteed a 2 hour seat, otherwise it is bar service. It would take you hours to tour the bar and see all the displays, including the extensive shrunken head displays and the museum of the bizarre. The drink list was fun, includes mocktails, island drinks, flaming drinks and beers. They currently are serving a limited menu of just appetizers so plan accordingly. The band was great, the guitarist would walk around the patrons playing. They gave a great vibe to the place without being too loud to prohibit conversation. If you want a fun night that makes you feel you are thousands of miles from Las Vegas, this is your destination.
We came here for brunch and it's not a typical brunch spot since this is literally a tiki bar - but actually I would still recommend this place to people looking for a place to get good Hawaiian food!Good:The drinks here are so fun -they do this light on fire routine that involves flashing the lighter on and off next to your drink if you order the right one.I got the strawberry batida and enjoyed it - it had a distinct alcohol taste still so it wasn't all like masked flavor but it was still pretty good and you could taste the dole whip.We got the surfboard platter and it was definitely a good starter for a group of 6 but not enough to fill your whole stomach so we also got the meatballs and the bananas foster waffle and the tater tots. I like the surfboard platter the most because of the variety.Bad:Service was a bit slow and we had to flag down people on our own as we needed water or needed the check. The tater tots and the waffle were more mediocre- pretty soggy and standard.----Overall would come again maybe just for the drinks next time!
Went to this bar expecting great things based on reviews. When we walked in the person at the door was rude off the hop. The decor is pretty cool though and the bathrooms are a hoot! Sat at the back and I think everyone had a different drink on the menu and they were all terrible. When we complained the waitress said it was us, not the drinks. Would not split the bill and there was 20 of us, all singles so that was also a pain. Friends spilt a glass of ice and the waitress acted like it was the end of the world, cut them off, no one was out of control so it was very odd.
Absolutely LOVE this place! We will definitely be back. The atmosphere is so much fun, there is so much to look at. We can't wait to go back and sit at another table just to see what might be around it to look at and explore. I definitely recommend making a reservation for a table since the bar is first come first served. When you make a reservation you have to pay a fee per person, but this money goes towards your bar tab. At first I was annoyed by this, but after entering and seeing how cool this place was I knew we'd be there long enough to spend more than the price to reserve and I'm willing to do it again! My favorite thing about this place is everything to see... definitely check out the bathroom wallpaper!
This is our second time to pop in to the Golden Tiki while in Las Vegas and again it did not disappoint. Our friends who had never been to the Tiki before said it "made their trip" and was one of the most fun things they did in Vegas. Fabulous waitress served up some awesome flaming drinks and the ambiance just can't be beat!!! This is a "must see and do" when in Vegas. Just a 10 dollar Lyft ride from the Strip. Call ahead for a table reservation so you get a good spot to sit.
We loved our visit to the Golden Tiki - great cocktails and really good food and great music. Evelyn, our server, was amazing - so patient explaining everything - and we even had a visit from Krystal, the magician. I still can’t work out how she did the tricks she did!! Can’t wait to go again :)
The Golden Tiki is an incredible 24/7 Tiki bar. I went off the strip to enjoy something a little different and was not disappointed. The atmosphere is great and provides that island vibe. The bartenders are fun to watch and the drinks are great. The doorman (Edward) is a Bills fan and as a member of the Bills mafia it was great to talk to him on the way in and out. I highly recommend making reservations and checking this fun spot out.
This a great Tiki bar. We discovered just by chance. Not far from awesome Chinese food and easy access from the strip. The entrance is spectacular like going into a cave. Drinks and cocktails are excellent and well prepared. Add fire for fun. Went with friends at the end of a trip and wish we’d found it sooner.
This place is insane! I had no idea a tiki bar could have this much character. Every member of the staff seems to have an amazing sense of humor. Just spend some time wandering around and you'll see some completely insane things! Just don't open the port holes! Remember, you were warned!I really enjoyed every single drink I had, but just another warning, if you're anything like me, these drinks will sit heavy on your stomach the next day. There's a lot going on in each one! Just don't go overboard.
I am a huge fan of tiki lounges. This one does an AMAZING job. You wouldn’t think it with the strip mall, but literally as you walk up you know you are in good company. Then you walk in. Wow.Their drinks are amazing. Their bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly.
