We came for all the great Greek food that was listed on the online menu. We called several times to make a reservation but no one answered. When we ordered nothing we wanted from the online menu was on the menu they handed us so we felt that the restaurant misrepresented themselves but once you get there you either have to leave or order their basic meat kabobs, greek salads or gyros. The food was good and service was good so they get two stars for that. You can get that same food in the mall food court so nothing special about this restaurant and we would have walked out if we were not going to a show and in a hurry.
The food looked great but the service left such a bad taste in my mouth I couldn't eat it. The man who took my order was so nice and even helped me figure out what I wanted! He deserves a promotion. Unfortunately, they forgot the dressing for my salad. No big deal though, I just went back to get some. The lady at the counter this time is absolutely rude and insulting. She said she didn't remember me and that she had been there the entire day and if I want dressing it will be $1. This lady should be replaced. A side of dressing is not worth loosing a customer.
This place is garbage, the owner is rude and has zero customer service skills and the food is not great either. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone, I would rather pay more money for my meal than have bad customer service & energy where I eat. They charge a $1 for any extra side of salad dressing, tahini, tzadiki sauce or anything else. Ridiculous. Much better food, customer service and energy in other Mediterranean restaurants in town !
Been coming to this restaurant for about 15+ years. Absolutely love the food but by the way I was just treated, they have lost a very extremely loyal customer that would come every week or other week. Not only that, I have recommended this restaurant to countless amounts of people and will no longer be doing so. Tonight I showed up at 6:31 p.m. which is the time I always show up because my husband gets off work at this time. I have never had an issue but tonight, the woman behind the counter informed me that they could not seat me because they stop seating at 6:30 p.m. because they close at 7:00 p.m. mind you again this was 6:31 p.m. which means if I would have gotten both my kids out of the car one minute faster, we would have been seated just fine. I proceeded to tell her that I was a loyal customer, we eat fast, and we already know what we want. Still a no. I also told her that we have been coming to the restaurant at this exact time ever since I can remember and that my server, which is a Russian man, has never had an issue with this and has always treated us with respect. She did not care whatsoever. She just kept repeating, sorry, I cannot seat you. We are now on our way to find another Greek restaurant that will treat us right and will appreciate our business.
We had a very nice meal at this restaurant. We ordered the beef shawarma sandwich and the gyro souvlaki sandwich combo with Greek salad and tropical flavored unsweetened tea. The portions were very ample, and the tastes were superb. My gyro meat was seasoned perfectly, just as I had hoped. The beef shawarma did seem a little salty, though. We also enjoyed the nicely decorated interior, and the music videos that were playing that afternoon. Service was good. Server even offered to make our drinks to go. This is a nice restaurant, and we will return. Refillable fountain drinks and tea available for dine-in. Plastic dinnerware and a napkin was seal wrapped, including salt and pepper packets.
Omg! This place is delicious!!! It’s clean, reasonably priced and the service was outstanding!! We will come again! - next time we’re in town!! Christian was fantastic!
This friendly and delicious spot quickly became a regular lunch stop for me. Portions are great. Food is always fresh. Staff is always friendly and helpful. It sometimes can be crowded, but I've never had any issues with getting in and out in around an hour. The "Fat Greek Gyro" on the menu is among the best I've had in Vegas.
Good Mediterranean food is hard to find in this area of the Las Vegas Valley. This place did not disappoint. The hummus was excellent, tzazicki was also excellent with big chunks of cucumber, Greek salads were generously portioned, and the meat on the gyro was very flavorful. Definitely will be returning to The Fat Greek!
Unfortunately I came in not too long ago and tried to order a to go order but hey guess I won’t be able to try the food when there’s a 30 minute wait and I only have a 30 minute lunch unfortunately can’t really say much about the food but definitely something has to change.
