I loved the library vibe and couch seating at the Dorsey. Great place to hang out over drinks. Expect cigar smoke but it's doesn't take over the room so don't let that keep you away. I mentioned library but this is not a quiet spot. They have a DJ at this bar and people will dance a little here & there when the music moves them.
Based on my experience, the place itself is very nice. Lounge type of environment. Seats were comfortable. Staff was friendly and professional. Drinks were good. Prices are average for Vegas. The music playing though didn't really match the theme of the lounge itself. Therefore, the comfort level could've been higher. Would recommend and would return though.

Went here to meet friends who were staying in the hotel and the attitude of the staff was the worst I have ever known it from many trips to Las Vegas. First took a long time to be served and then the waitress was extremely rude to our group. When I went to the bar to complain the guy there was also extremely rude. When the bill arrived I advised we would not be paying a tip as service was terrible and they did not deserve it. Again the staff were rude. Will never visit this place again
Had a spend here and had problems using it, The staff were completly unhelpful we ended up payhing cash and could not believe that they still expected a tip. The clue is in the title gratuity- you're grateful for the service. We did not get any serivce or help and through this we were unable to use the spend. We tip everywhere else
It's just okay... The hype from their advertising of amazing cocktails didn't match the drink. Had their old fashioned which was just okay. None of our drinks were over the top. Many other amazing places in Vegas for top quality drinks. I'm also surprised when an old fashioned doesn't come with a Bordeaux Black Cherry... It's required.
Get there early, they fill quickly. $17 and up for menu cocktails. I did “bartenders choice” and received an amazing mezcal cocktail. Service is spectacular. Comfy bar seats and couches. You can hear the music, but it doesn’t vibrate anything. I’m a fan.

We went to the Dorsey before dinner at Tao. Overall, really nice cocktail bar. Old school vibes, great seating and overall ambiance. The drinks were solid - we had a Sazerac, a rum coffee cocktail and what I call pineapple juice because it tasted just like pineapple juice. Grab a drink if you are passing through.
