Headed in here because my gf said it’s good. Parking is free early. Gets packed. It’s kinda pricey and I didn’t want to but it was soo worth it compared to other buffets that are like hometown. The wait for us was like an hour and a half. My only complaint was how the elderly lady behind us went to talk to the hostess who hooked her up right away where she didn’t have to wait which is bs. Nonetheless the Buffett itself was great. So much food. Great quality. In total we stayed for like 3 hours just stuffing ourselves. Totally worth it. Oh and our waiter was super awesome too. I will gladly return.
Best buffet I have ever been too. So many choices and not one entrée was disappointing. Melissa was a great host and very attentive
You might be asking wow two buffets on one Vegas trip? Before my Vegas trip, which was during the second weekend of October, I made reservations originally for dinner only. In order to guarantee my availability I prepaid my reservation. Most of the time when I go to buffets in Vegas I rarely go for breakfast or brunch. The last time I've been to Vegas was in 2017 and I don't know when I will come back to Vegas again. About one week before my trip to Vegas I also decided to prepay a reservation for brunch on a Sunday, which was my last day in Vegas. On my first night in Vegas in the first week of October I went to The Buffet on Friday night for my reservation at 6:30PM. The time was not only early enough, but also provided ample time to enjoy dinner. Earlier in the day I had breakfast at Jardin at the Encore. I hoped to have a light breakfast earlier in the day, but my breakfast was slightly heavier than I expected. Yet I was still hungry. The first plate featured pieces of the Asian Marinated Whole Pig. The skin was crispy while the meat was moist. However the piece itself was a little too fatty and heavy. This item affected the rest of my dinner, which I couldn't enjoy as much. The second plate I had included short beef rib on polenta and two slices of pizza. The short beef rib ended up as the best meat item on the night as the beef was tender and the creamy polenta added a buttery texture. Fish dishes can make or break a buffet if not freshly served. My third plate featured fish items. One of the fish items the pepper crusted ahi had a firmness that I like. Also the flavoring of the ahi provided a cold heat. My fourth plate consisted of the 3 beef items: brisket, prime rib, and tri-tip. Even though they were tender they weren't spectacular. My last item for dinner was tonkotso ramen with sesame oil, which brought some spicy umami flavor. Saturday dinner after having dinner I decided to cancel my prepaid reservation for Sunday brunch. However I forgot to really understand the terms when I made the reservation - less than 24 prior to your reservation if you cancel you will not get a refund. Later that night I checked my online banking account and there was no refund. On Sunday morning around 8:15AM since I was staying at the Wynn I walked towards The Buffet. I wanted to confirm with the receptionist at The Buffet that my cancellation was received. She showed me the $54 had been refunded. She also mentioned that I was lucky because normally if I made the cancellation less than 24 hours to my reservation I wouldn't receive a refund. I appreciated the service especially with the refund. So that would be it with The Buffet right? After about 25 minutes I had a change of heart. I decided to wait in line at The Buffet for Sunday lunch. Luckily I only waited in line for about 20 minutes and got a table around 9:40AM; my original reservation for brunch was 9:00AM. Most people like going to buffets for dinner I prefer going to buffets in the morning as you can digest your food throughout the day and enjoy yourself. In addition depending what time you go to any buffet items for a breakfast buffet tend to be fresher than in lunch and dinner as the items don't lay at the steam table for a long time. Instead of explaining every plate I had for breakfast I will reveal the highlights. I like my scrambled eggs runny and at The Buffet the eggs were also fluffy. The breakfast stromboli was like breakfast pizza with meat and melted cheese with a crunchy crust. The lemon and burrata cheese blintzes was a nice alternative item to the pancakes and waffles that are usually served at other buffets. The panko fried shrimp cake ended up as the best meat item for breakfast. The fruit dishes I had for the last two plates were a nice way to end a Sunday brunch. The food at The Buffet is decent but not spectacular and therefore would be just a 3-star rating. However I will add an extra star for the unexpected refund I received. Overall a good rating is sufficient for this buffet.
Our family of 6, 2 adults and 4 children, ages 8 to 15, ate at both the Wynn Buffet amd the Bacchanal Buffet last weekend. Both are excellent choices amd you won't go wrong going to either. The Wynn Buffet has a few less choices and slightly lower quality on the carving meat, desserts for both presentation and choices, and seafood. It is still very good. The value for what you pay is excellent. You pay more at Bacchanal amd I would say it is clear that you get what you pay for. Service was excellent at both.
Each time I have been to Vegas I have always meant to try this buffet as I have heard such good things. I finally got round to it this time, and wish I hadn’t bothered to be honest. Worked out at £70.54pp plus tip, so priced relatively highly on the buffet options of the strip. Food was plentiful, but relatively bland and not particularly flavourful. Lovely setting but average food.
High quality food, great service. Melissa was very attentive. My husband and I are here from Canada for our anniversary, really enjoyed the variety and quality of the food. Will be back on our next visit!
We visited the Wynn buffet twice while in Vegas and it doesn’t disappoint! The pancake station alone sets it above the other buffets we went to. The selection of food is huge and the decoration of the seating area is so pretty. Advice is try and get there early, close to when it opens and it is much quieter then! The second time we visited was later morning and we waited over an hour to be seated because it was really busy! But still well worth the wait.
A let down from times past. The food was still good but the service was VERY slow once we were seated. According to their web site they do have a suggested dress code but they had guests in t-shirts and pajama bottoms. They must of just came from Walmart. No class. They should of told them to go change before letting them in.
We had the lunch buffet at the WYNN , pay $50 to have such a good buffet is worth. The environment is great. I love the Korean raw tuna rice , nice shrimp and the chef made salad is super. A lot of variety from the dessert section
A little pricey but good food with a lot of variety. Make sure you get there before 3 PM other price jumps drastically.
