Wonderfully creative food and drinks, and it was all delicious! I could eat here every time I'm in Vegas.

Highly recommend for people with an adventurous food palate. The dishes were creative, fresh, full of flavor, good size portions, and super tasty. Service was great and atmosphere was pleasant and cozy.

New Vegas favorite: what a casual bistro should be. Much better food than most of the premier strip restaurants (which cost three or four times more) and you can show up in shorts, a t shirt and flip flops if you want. Nobody cares. All about the food and lively, welcoming atmosphere. Also boasts by far the best inexpensive wine list we’ve seen in this city: everything is good and most bottles come in under $50. Nice and helpful waitstaff. Lively scene at the attractive small bar. Started with beet salad and shrimp ceviche —both bright and flavorful, clean and expertly balanced. Mains were whole deboned trout and shortribs. Trout was perfectly cooked with a really first rate soy based sauce. Short ribs were delectable and not at all greasy, like an idealized pot roast. Deserts were a tasty and light yuzu gel and a single huge vanilla and honey profiterole. The latter was so good I ended up picking it up and devouring it like a burger (as server suggested). Total bill with a bottle of fine 2017 Vouvray and 20% tip: $205. Again better, fresher, more balanced and more thoughtful cuisine than most of the premier strip restaurants, and at a third or quarter of the price and without the pretension. Our only criticism would be endemic to almost all restaurant kitchens—too much pre-prepped food. The greens with my trout would’ve been tastier and had better texture if actually sauteed right before serving then deglazed with the excellent sauce. Ditto for the vegetables with my wife’s shortribs. We get that this isn’t too practical or economical in any but the most high end restaurant kitchens (and the strip places mostly use shortcuts too while charging far more). But the food would be first rate (as in two European Michelin stars first rate) if everything possible was prepared right before service.

Food was bland, no seasoning. Very disappointed from hearing good things about this restaurant.

The Black Sheep did not disappoint. We had reservations for 6:15 pm because we knew that the salmonskin tacos sold out early. They were delicious!! The steak tartare was also worth having. We ended up eating 4 appetizers instead of dinner but what we saw going to the tables looked delicious. Our waitress was attentive and informative and it was overall a great meal.

Every bite was delicious. We shared several appetizers and loved them all. We all share a bite or two of our main courses but enjoyed our food so much it was hard to share.

We are repeat offenders and dine at the Sheep often. As always, the food and service was fantastic. Food can be on the warmer side of spicy, which is one VERY MINOR suggestion I would make is to be able to down the level of heat for those that can't take the spice levels. (for me it is just right, but just a minor suggestion) Very proud of our local go to place receiving national recognition, along with the wonderful chef - who in our minds WAS THE TOP CHEF! Keep up the great food and service!!!

Everything was delicious! We will be back. You must try the octopus!!

Wonderful evening! Dale took great care of us and we had a great time. All the food was amazing, my pear salad and bao buns were divine.
