This is an odd review but, long story short, I was at a wedding and my friend who came ( but didn’t go to the wedding ) with me got wasted while I was gone to the event. She walked way away from where I left her to explore the strip. Not to get into details but she was in real danger in the situation she got herself in. She because too drunk to tell me where she was when I checked on her after the wedding. The staff ( a really nice young lady with long dark hair) saw her and quickly figured out how drunk she was and who was near her, pulled her into their closed cafe ( I think that was what it was). Outside the restaurant was a group of questionable guys. The very nice lady called me. I was in a Lyft looking for her with an amazing driver- Luis. Anyway, Luis and I came and got her. He told me when I walked into the restaurant to get my friend, the questionable group of guys seemed none too happy that the drunk girl was being picked up. FYI, I did talk to one of them on the phone before this that gave me the wrong information to where she was. The very nice long haired woman and the staff went above and beyond to watch out for one lonely drunk girl. I am very grateful they did not ignore her and what could of happened to her. Thank you to the staff !!!!!

Fantastic Arts District restaurant (and next door coffee shop) with a relaxed vibe as well as a rooftop party venue to check out in the evening. The food is a fusion of styles including Mediterranean to Asian/Hawaiian. Nice selection of cocktails, beers & wines at reasonable prices. Fun & friendly staff too. Bonus points for featuring artwork from local artists throughout their space. ?Looking forward to visiting again on my next trip to visit friends in the area.

Dining (and drinking) at Taverna Costera was an absolute joy. We opted for a bunch of tapas options and cocktails and everything we ordered was sensational. My favourite was the Eastern Merchant cocktail and the tapas platter - chips were delish! Our server Mike was beyond great - made the night. Definitely be back.

Came here for work. This place is really nice. Awesome Aesthetics with the decor and just the overall vibe. I had Jennifer as my server and she was very helpful even when I asked for a suggestion she worked with what I was looking for and was able to get me what I needed. I meant both the chef and the owner were great people. My food was great quality and came out very expediently. I had iced tea which was very refreshing. Didn't mind that I had work to do in their booth, and they were very helpful the entire time I was there. From what I hear they have many events going on here and I would like to see more of them. I am going to be returning to this place more often in the future.

What a great find. First, I love that they feature local artists' art throughout the restaurant. Walk down the halls and view some cool paintings. Luckily for me, they were featuring a few Hawaii themed art. Lol, I loved the "pakalolo."There's a roof top bar, and they have live music and / or a DJ. Visit IG or website for featured artists performing.Diane was our server. She was absolutely great.Food:Dragon WingsStrawberry Field SaladPork Belly Fried RiceMy favorite was the wings, then the salad, and the least was the fried rice. Don't get me wrong, all the dishes were delicious. It was flavorful and satisfying to the belly. It's definitely a cool spot located in the Arts District.

It's a nice addition to the arts district. Sat outside at the patio, they have 2 options with fire pits. There is also a rooftop terrace which we were told opens at 8p on Saturday when the live music show starts. The hummus was delicious but my 77 Problems cocktail wasn't chilled enough and it was more like room temperature.
