We drove off the Las Vegas Strip to the Art District. This restaurant is such a gem. A full, varied menu of all plant-based taco fillings. Between me, my husband and my daughters, we were able to sample 6 or 7 different flavors. We all loved the Al Pastor, the barbacoa (with jackfruit) and the hibiscus flower taco. SO GOOD, and at a very affordable price. 2 tacos can make a meal, 3 if you are starving or have a big appetite.
Love this place! Just flew into Vegas for work and found this gem! All vegan! Carne asada and Al pastor tacos were amazing, fish taco wasn’t my favorite. Also had a vegan queso fundido! Where else can you get that?! Nowhere that I’ve found. The VIBE in here is awesome, it’s order at the counter, but has a lounge feel, louder music (amazing playlist) and very trendy inside. I am definitely feeling it. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a doggie patio that is super cute. They have cocktails as well. I didn’t try them because I am working. Come here!!!
One of the best plant based restaurants I have been too. The cheese was actually really good and I am not a plant based cheese fan. Margarita flight is perfect. Must go!
My wife and I went to Vegas for the first time and stopped here after a small excursion to Fremont St. We recommend taking the Deuce double decker bus to and from Fremont St. from the strip. Affordable and cheaper than Lyft.Anyway, we wanted to try some good Tex-Mex/southwest flavors and Tacotarian didn't disappoint! We didn't realize until we got there that the restaurant serves plant-based proteins but the food was still very good, and environmentally friendly! We shared the taco platter and had an asada, pastor, and veggie taco, with rice and beans. Their chips and salsa is good, and we had a side of guacamole which was also delicious. I believe salsas and guacamole are made in-house. If you're looking for authentic tex-mex in Vegas, don't miss this place! Affordable, too!
I don’t usually go looking for plant-based foods but this spot was recommended by a few friends. Pleasantly surprised by how well-seasoned the food was. Service was good and food came out within 5 minutes or so. Ordered the birria platter. The texture felt close to cooked meat, just a bit softer.Minus 1 star due to the menu not being clear—menu makes it seem like the birria platter comes with salad, rice and beans (which I expected for the price and being called a “platter”) but it only included sides for items listed underneath. Should be clearer considering that’s the reason I went with this instead of the taco platter which did include the sides.
Tacotarian does not serve meat, and they are usually very busy. I doubt that vegetarianism has caught on to that degree, so that shows the rising popularity of this style of cuisine. While I am not a vegetarian, I will do meatless days occasionally. But regardless, this is just delicious grub. Besides, what is there not to like about tacos?
Not too bad, not too good. The best taco is the One with Mole. But, the Asada and the pastor are too sad. The tortillas are too greasy, not like the regular ones or the traditional ones. All the tacos were cold, the most sadness. The horchata is good—too much plastic waste. Nice place! (Talking about the interior design).
Delicious tacos indeed. The food came to us kinda lukewarm but it was delicious. Beautiful staff and the restaurant was decorated to perfection. Nice setup. I recommend this place, seriously. Forget about the lukewarmness, just concentrate on the tacos. The sauce was delicious with a good taste.
Stopped in for a quick dessert and was not disappointed!Mekella was very patient with me as I asked about ingredients.Fried Oreos are a best seller but I am trying to be healthy LOLThe vibe here is "spacious and relaxed". The colors are upbeat and there is a strong "nature" vibe due to the numerous plants! And WOW the donuts are awesome. So light and fluffy.Next time maybe I'll try the tacos! :)[The name of the place is literally TACO-TARIAN]
Delicious vegan food and nice atmosphere. ??
